Contribute to quality by reviewing and evaluating the Occupational Therapy service within the Low Secure Unit regularly, identifying changing needs and opportunities to improve services, in collaboration with the Senior Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Manager, Clinical Director, Director of Nursing and relevant others. Develop and implement service / business plans, quality initiatives, audits etc. and report on outcomes in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist Manager and Senior Occupational Therapist. Collect and evaluate data about the individual group and demonstrate the achievement of the objectives of the service. Oversee the upkeep of accurate records in line with best clinical governance, organisational requirements and the Freedom of Information Act, and render reports and other information / statistics as required. Represent the department / team at meetings and conferences as appropriate. Promote good team working, and a culture that values diversity. Engage in IT developments as they apply to individual and service administration. Keep up to date with developments within the organisation and the Irish Health Service. Perform such other duties appropriate to the office as may be assigned by the Clinical Director, Director of Nursing or the Senior Occupational Therapist. Contract: 3-month fixed term, 4 hours per week

Are you a CORU-registered Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in adult mental health care? A well-established mental health service in South Dublin is seeking a Part-Time Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic clinical environment and support individuals with neuro-disabilities and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist speech and language therapy services within a mental health setting.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Person Specification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland.

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in supervision or education is an advantage.
