**Responsibilities**
**Technical Knowledge and Expertise**
+ Support a hybrid CI/CD DevOps virtualized infrastructure that consists of Windows & Linux Server OS, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell scripting, with a focus on data protection technologies, service metrics and KPI reporting, documentation skills, along with interpersonal awareness, proactivity, and a proven ability to manage and drive delivery of multiple simultaneous cross-group dependent server and service-based projects at scale.
+ Perform, maintain, and continuously improve automated operating system installation and configuration.
+ Configure and maintain hands-on bare metal enterprise-class server systems, including automated periodic firmware and driver updates at scale, RAID and IPMI configurations and hardware troubleshooting.
**Operational Excellence**
+ Monitor servers, ensure SLAs and KPIs are met and maintained, provide security conscience outcomes maintaining compliance alignment, and ensure 24/7/365 service and infrastructure operations support with continuous optimizations.
+ Transition manual operational processes to automation while leveraging CI/CD DevOps principles.
**Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing**
+ Partner with a global team while helping bring projects to successful outcomes and delivering rigorous documentation artifacts.
+ Share responsibility for automating, securing, configuring, and delivering support of the Critical Environments infrastructure & related programs and projects in existing and future datacenters.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or Trade Certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR equivalent experience.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in Ireland (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
**Other Requirements:**
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND an internship in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering OR equivalent experience.
+ Familiarity with enterprise large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
+ Basic understanding of Windows Server OS and UNIX-based operating systems including enterprise-level Linux distributions performing automated system installation and configuration, file system concepts, resource monitoring, user administration, package management, and process control & management.
+ Demonstrate basic understanding of Configuration management with PowerShell DSC, Puppet, Chef or similar.
+ Project or lab work with server & tooling platforms for multiple infrastructure services such as Windows Server 2022/2019, Linux Server distributions, Hyper-V, Azure Arc, MIT Kerberos, Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell/Python infrastructure-as-code scripting, data protection technologies, service monitoring, incident alarming, compliance, and other services to aid in fulfilling operational monitoring, audit logging of events, compliance requirements, outages, or security-related issues.

CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific Instruments, on a permanent basis. This role will cover client sites in Ireland.

About the role:

You will perform field service as advised by the call dispatch staff/system, carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and installation including IQOQ of instrumentation and their accessories. Main product groups that will be supported are ICP-OES and Material characterization. Experience in FTIR, UV/Vis and GC would be an advantage. Experience in GMP environments also an advantage. Full product training will be given.

Planning and executing work in an effective and efficient manner, providing the highest levels of customer service support, and the best possible financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Field Service.
  • Provide onsite user training on defined product groups.
  • Organizing routine maintenance allocated monthly.
  • Ensures that all documentation, circuit diagrams, Service Data Bulletins and manuals are of the correct revision to undertake service on specific instrument types. Maintains ancillary documentation e.g. Safety Manual, Procedures Manual to the highest standard with regular reviewing of manuals provided in accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Align personal working practices with the department s performance targets. Actively demonstrate compliance with all team targets.
  • Maintains personal service spares issued and inventory records to the highest standard. Ensures all anomalies are quickly and effectively reported and resolved.
  • Ensures that all tools and test equipment is adequate to perform service required, and that all test equipment issued is calibrated at the times specified.
  • Makes returns of all fully completed service documentation, Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expenses Claims, Motor Vehicle Log Sheets etc, on a weekly basis or as required.
  • Able to promote /sell service products inc consumables and service contract.
  • Able to deliver customer service Training courses.

  • HND or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Full Irish Driving License.
  • Experience in a Customer Service Environment.
  • Experience in GMP environments.
  • Background in Electronics or similar discipline, with an understanding of analytical instrumentation and awareness of instrument applications.
  • Experience in FTIR, UV/Vis and GC would be an advantage.

Field Service Engineer Our client is a Large Multinational in the provision of industrial solutions for the engineering market are seeking a Field Service Engineer in Dublin / Leinster to join their team of well renowned Engineers. This is a market leading company with a proven training program and ongoing development for their staff. Our client boasts an extremely high retention rate and is a great place to work. THE COMPANY: Our client is a national leader in the provision of industrial solutions for clients across a variety of manufacturing sectors including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor plants to name a few. Providing a wide range of products including pumps, blowers, vacuum systems, compressors, and air treatment. Established for over 150 years with a growing headcount, our client has a keen focus on providing a high-quality service which they are renowned for. This provides a unique environment for a Dublin based Field Service Engineer. THE ROLE: The successful Dublin based Field Service Engineer will cover the Leinster territory, and will service, maintain, overhaul, and fault find on equipment such as air compressors, and compressors. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to a wide range of Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Carlow based Field Service Engineers with varying backgrounds: Strong Electro-Mechanical skills required. Preferably the candidate will have trade experience although that is not a prerequisite. Experience in compressors is highly advantageous. Prior field service experience will be an advantage. THE PACKAGE: The overall earning potential for this role is around €50-55k inclusive of door to door, pension, bonus and commission.
