Our team is building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud platforms that support the next generation of digital financial applications. We're looking for a Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure to help build and support our cloud-native environments.

In this role, you will work as a key contributor within our cloud platform team, focusing on automation, infrastructure as code, and secure delivery pipelines. You'll collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver well-architected solutions aligned with industry best practices.

You will be working as part of The Cloud and Data Center Services Team which designs, builds, and maintains PaaS environments which span multiple cloud service providers. We provide our customers with innovative platforms which allow for a faster time-to-market and reduced complexity.

Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure in AWS to support business-critical applications with high availability and security requirements.

* Partner with other software engineers, SREs, and security teams to implement automation around deployment, observability, and compliance.

* Identify opportunities to eliminate toil and automate the triage of issues to improve overall operational stability

* Champion DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls into the platform lifecycle.

* Contribute to the design of highly available systems that are resilient to cloud-native failure modes.

* Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other platform engineers and cross-functional teams.

* Stay informed on emerging technologies and bring forward recommendations for adoption or enhancement.

Preferred:
* 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, including 3+ years of direct experience with AWS.

* Proven experience designing production-grade cloud infrastructure in regulated environments.

* Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, identity and access management, and governance within AWS.

* Proficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Shell).

* Experience with continuous integration/delivery pipelines and GitOps workflows.

* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

* Experience with multi-account cloud architecture, landing zones, or control tower setups.

* Familiarity with zero-trust architecture, data encryption, and key management systems (KMS).

* Strong proficiency with using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to build cloud infrastructure solutions and automating cloud deployments.

* Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.

* Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS/Kubernetes).

About The Role
We're hiring
Senior Platform Engineers
to support the design, delivery, and scaling of cloud-based infrastructure that underpins our clients enterprise contact centre. This is an opportunity for experienced engineers to join a team that values automation, cloud-first thinking, and on-the-job learning in
VoIP/SIP
and
contact centre technologies
.

You'll help scale Kubernetes-based systems, improve observability, and integrate CI/CD pipelines — all while being mentored by voice platform experts to gain exposure to tools like
Genesys
,
Amazon Connect
, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain resilient Linux-based systems for customer contact services
• Contribute to platform automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling (CI/CD, GitOps, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and support production systems in a 24/7 high-availability environment
• Collaborate with senior engineers to upskill in SIP, VoIP, and telephony environments
• Participate in agile sprint cycles, code reviews, and platform optimisation efforts
• Write and maintain platform documentation and incident runbooks

Ideal Experience

• 5+ years in platform, cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong skills in Linux, Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and monitoring frameworks
• Contact centre tooling (Genesys, Amazon Connect, Avaya) in Routing. This is to create and maintain complex routing strategies. Call routing experience is essential.
• Experience supporting production systems in a regulated or enterprise environment
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.) and solid understanding of system-level debugging
• CI/CD tools are nice to have (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Git)
