We are seeking a highly motivated Computer Science/Software Consultant to join our Research and Development ("R&D") incentives team based in Dublin 2.
This role would suit a recent graduate from a
Computer science, Software Development or Software Engineering discipline
with strong writing and communication skills who can utilise their scientific/technical knowledge to assist companies with the preparation of the scientific/technical aspects of R&D tax credit claims.
You will work closely with many different companies within Ireland's exciting tech landscape, to identify and document eligible R&D activities.
Please note that this job does not involve any programming or software development.

- Third level degree (minimum degree level) in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Software Architecture, Software Development or equivalent. Grade 2.1 minimum.
- 1 year experience in research and development projects in the industry or in academic environment would be a bonus.
- 1 year experience working in a programming environment in the software industry is ideal. In particular, a basic knowledge and experience working throughout the software development lifecycle and basic programming with modern software development tools and/or environments will be a bonus

- Assisting the R&D team in providing advice to our software clients in relation to the eligibility of activities for the R&D tax credit, including attendance to meetings, liaising with clients' technical leads, and review of internal documents.
- Researching and resolving queries both general and client specific in relation to the scientific/ technical aspects of the R&D tax credit
- Gather technical information from our clients' R&D teams and drafting technical reports detailing qualifying R&D projects.
- Planning, organising, and executing R&D engagements on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
- Please note that this job does not involve any programming or software development.
- Prior experience with the R&D tax credit is NOT necessary. KPMG will provide the successful candidate with specialised training on the R&D tax credit scheme.

As an Analyst at Nucleo you will play an integral role in the delivery of projects. You will work directly with Clients and Nucleo Project teams, taking ownership of project deliverables. You will be part of a diverse team who are experienced and passionate about improving our client's business performance and solving complex problems. You will gain experience across a range of projects by providing data analysis and migration services, business intelligence reporting and insights, support expert Asset Management solutions delivery, Project Management and Change Management practices.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Requirements:

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support our Human Resources team with providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions. In this role, you will collect, analyse and interpret HR data across areas such as recruitment, employee engagement, learning and development, reward and benefits, retention and performance management. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with HR systems and reporting tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse employee data from multiple sources, including recruitment, reward and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement surveys and performance management.
- Generate and maintain metrics, dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate HR data and insights to stakeholders for performance, planning, forecasting and statutory reporting.
- Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customised reports and analytics to meet their needs.
- Interrogate data to develop actionable insights and make data driven recommendations.
- Provide expertise and translate the business needs to identify and implement an effective HRIS (HR Information System).
- Maintain accuracy and relevance of data to meet regulatory requirements.
Key Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or Business Management.
- 3+ years' experience in data analytics preferably in HR or related discipline.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data flow, extraction and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of system design, structure, configuration, workflow and user interface.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite applications.
- Familiarity with Power BI is desirable but not essential.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, HR Policies and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
