• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and AI solutions aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures using Azure and/or AWS.

• Utilize experience in Engineering & Software Architecture Design

Industry knowledge:

• Have an overarching knowledge around cloud native technologies
• Apply knowledge of web-based security such as OAuth2, OIDC, PKI, etc
• Apply familiarity with integration patterns and designs with an event driven SaaS offering
• Experience with complex distributed compute and service-based architecture

Solution Architect

About your role:

As a Software Architecture - Advisor II, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing software architecture strategies that support Fiserv's business objectives. Your expertise will ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy software architecture solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial services industry.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement software architecture strategies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment between business objectives and software architecture.
• Provide guidance on software solutions and integration across multiple platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
• Create and maintain software architectural models, blueprints, and documentation.
• Mentor and support junior team members in software architecture best practices.

Experience you'll need to have:

• Experience in software architecture
• Experience in technology integration
• Experience in software solution design
• Experience with development and integration of software solutions using languages such as Java, C#, or Python
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in the financial services industry
