What Sourcing Management Contributes To Cardinal Health
Global Sourcing is responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers and patients. Develops and executes strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is created through supplier selection and management contract negotiation, supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.
Role Description
The primary focus of this team in Dublin, Ireland involves managing international sourcing contract activities on a global scale. It plays a pivotal role in the global operation of Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solution segment in Cardinal Health. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the healthcare industry and help strengthen its global presence.
Based in Dublin, Ireland the Sourcing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to leverage relationships within the business entity and across the enterprise to achieve best total value. This includes several critical operational tasks such as:- ensuring data exchange services to suppliers are flawlessly executed, managing supply interruption disputes so that they are resolved without delay and executing high value purchase set up's to optimize inventory and service levels
Responsibilities
EDI Monitoring / trouble shooting:
Daily monitoring/trouble shooting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transmissions to ensure sales tracing data and inventory reports are processed right first time and are made available to suppliers on a timely basis
Failure to Supply Management:
Work with internal stakeholders (procurement/finance) and external manufacturing suppliers to monitor failure to supply events. Work cross functionally to resolve any disputes that may develop and ensure Cardinal Health is correctly compensated when deliveries into its distribution network are interrupted.
Manual Prep Buy:
Collaborate with the global sourcing team to closely manage critical items that require additional oversight via a manual buy process ensuring that inventory levels are optimized and customer service levels maintained.
Other Responsibilities
- Document management e.g. writing/maintaining standard operating procedures and training materials
- Inventory analysis and management e.g.
- Stock builds for seasonal Cold Flu Seasons
- Identification of overstock opportunities to support cash flow initiatives
- Set up and monitor new item launches
- Audit brokerage orders and customer transfers
- Represent the department cross-functionally, in all interactions with all levels of management
- Lead special projects as needed and drive a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in related field preferred e.g. PharmaBio Industry, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Wholesale Distribution
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Location
- Hybrid role
- Ideal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule – coming into the Dublin, Ireland office 2 days a week and working the other days remote

Verizon's Supply Chain Services is transforming and expanding the Global Strategic Sourcing Group and seeks dynamic sourcing professionals with strong experience in sourcing, supplier negotiations, data gathering and analysis, and managing client and supplier relationships.
As the Strategic Sourcing Manager you will build collaborative relationships with our internal business partners as well as strategic relationships with our suppliers. You will actively manage multiple, highly visible, time-sensitive activities. You will effectively interface with all levels of management and ensure the sourcing process is consistent within Verizon's policies and goals.
You will partner with the Network Real Estate Planning organization, as well as Sourcing, Finance, Contract Management and Legal teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor to developing category strategy, objectives, and plans.
- Negotiating and completing key strategic deals including national master lease agreements, with our small and medium tower company partners for macros, site modifications, and small cells projects, driving all aspects of complex strategic sourcing processes.
- Strategize and evaluate multiple variables to determine the best course of action during high-level negotiations, and ensure that the negotiation takes into consideration future rent impacts.
- Assess and recommend ways to optimize the rent/lease portfolio, to meet Verizon infrastructure build goals.
- Partner with your business partner to create business case justification needed to gain approval and execution of master lease agreements from management.
- Manage expiration dates on existing master lease agreements, build a business case around potential MLA extensions/renegotiations, secure leadership approval of approach, and ensure that you are securing the best possible outcome for Verizon.
- Negotiate contracts that uphold the integrity of future network needs while focusing on driving rent and lease expenses down.
- Manage budget and planning, and draft necessary language to translate business needs into specific requirements for contract-related documents, e.g. statements of work (SOW), letters of authorization (LOAs), requests for proposals (RFPs), etc.
- Partner on negotiations, pricing terms and conditions, conduct research and provide benchmark data including conducting and facilitating RFP's (RFQs or RFIs).

- Experience in Strategic Sourcing (indirect) with consulting services categories or related experience.
- Experience in Real Estate Development/Negotiations, Municipal Approval Processes, and Construction.

The Supplier Management Engineer will contribute to global performance management at Thermo Fisher.
What we will do:
- Traveling up to 50%, we visit suppliers to resolve manufacturing, quality, and technical issues, and prevent future problems.

How you will get here
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering, Science, or Business
Experience:
- 8+ years exp. in regulated environment (GMP a plus) in Pharma, Med Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetics, Food, Automotive, or Aerospace needed.
- Validated experience with a minimum of 3 years in each role within at least 2 of the following functional areas:
- Operations, Quality, Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in data management, collection, analysis, technical writing, and driving continuous improvement with a track record of achieving results.
- Experience in business and quality management systems (i.e. SAP, TrackWise, etc.).
- Experience in a matrix organization and influencing internal and external team members at multiple levels of the organization.
- Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification is a plus.
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Associate to join our growing Supplier Quality team. You will play a key role in maintaining Repligen's Approved Supplier List (ASL), supporting the supplier audit program, and managing Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). This is an opportunity to work on important supplier quality initiatives in a collaborative environment. We are an innovative life sciences company focused on developing and commercializing high-value bioprocessing products, technologies, and solutions critical in the production of biologic drugs.
You will be part of a cross-functional team of three highly motivated and collaborative colleagues responsible for managing supplier qualification, risk mitigation, and quality performance. The team plays a key role in ensuring that Repligen's supplier network meets quality, regulatory, and performance standards, while driving continuous improvement and supporting our global supply chain. This role will be based in Waterford, Ireland adhering to a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and will report to theSenior Director of Supplier and Risk Management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL) to ensure all active suppliers meet Repligen's qualification and compliance requirements.
- Support the supplier audit program by assisting with audit scheduling, document preparation, coordination with suppliers, tracking audit completion, and ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Process and track Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs), ensuring changes are reviewed, risk-assessed, and approved according to company procedures.
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) by initiating, tracking, and following up to verify that corrective actions address root causes effectively.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of supplier performance metrics, escalating concerns as needed to senior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain accurate and organized supplier quality documentation, records, and databases.
- Contribute to departmental projects aimed at improving supplier quality processes and compliance readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, supply chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, supply chain, or manufacturing; internships or co-op experience in a regulated environment will be considered.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, supplier management processes, and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001 or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or QMS software is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Supply Chain & Planning Student
To assist in daily, Weekly and monthly activities supporting continued product supply to Market. Shipping documentation generation using SAP, Documentation generation, and supporting with KPI generation will be critical elements of this role. This role will give the candidate a broad overview of manufacturing and distribution operations and the critical interdepartmental responsibilities and communication to deliver business performance (Supply-Chain, Operations, Quality and Customers) in Bray.
How you will contribute :- Updating master data in SAP.
- Gathering Master Data information as required by Strategic Business Projects or to support ongoing investigations.
- Manage monthly inventory KPI generation and data gathering.
- Creation of shipping document 'packs' required for each shipment.
- Update documentation or generate new documents as required.
- Support requests for sample shipments for Initial Commercial Supply or New product launches.
- Preparation of KPI reports for Supply Chain and Planning to include:
- WIP monitoring
- Inventory Reporting DOH Analysis.
- Alert monitoring
In this position you will report to the Manager, Supply Chain & Planning.
