The Global Strategic Accounts and Partnerships Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing a cohesive global strategy that integrates diverse markets and drives unified performance. This highly visible and strategic role oversees key global partnerships and leverages internal capabilities to deliver both immediate results and long-term, sustainable growth. The position requires close collaboration with regional leaders through a dotted-line structure to cultivate alignment, foster shared goals, and drive consistency across global operations. A key focus will be engagement with top-tier leadership across our four Global Strategic Accounts (GSAs) as well as Regional Corporates and Buying Groups. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who excels at building trust, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving impactful results across regions and customer types. A core responsibility includes partnering with the Data Lead to develop an automated customer performance reporting system and establish a robust data governance framework, enabling better insights and decision-making across all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate an innovative mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate strategic vision into operational success. In addition, this role will contribute to the evolution of the international channel strategy, including Retail (eCommerce, Brick & Mortar Pharmacies, and Omnichannel), Telemedicine, Home Delivery, and Distribution. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Refine and lead the global strategy for Global Strategic Accounts, Regional Corporates, and Buying Groups, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market needs. Provide direct oversight of GSA performance, including regular monitoring, governance, and maintenance of the GSA Watchlist. Partner with Regional Presidents and Key Account Teams to ensure strategic alignment and transparent communication across markets. Lead a cross-functional Steering Committee to address global partnership complexities and centralize key decisions. Serve as the primary customer-facing executive in strategic negotiations, fostering long-term, high-value partnerships. Ensure alignment in contract negotiations, SOP implementation, and governance plans across all markets. Oversee global product launches, coordinating cross-market efforts to drive awareness, trial, and uptake. Align marketing and medical affairs programs with customer goals, ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution. Deliver quarterly performance updates to the ZET, providing insights into global alignment and GSA effectiveness. Maintain and evolve a Global Playbook and contract repository for all strategic partnership activities. Map and manage a matrix of customer-facing teams by country to drive consistent customer experience. Lead bi-annual Global Partnership Reviews with customers to evaluate performance, growth opportunities, and strategic alignment. Liaise with procurement teams to ensure efficient product supply and innovation pipeline discussions. Oversee supply management processes, ensuring availability and addressing any disruptions to service. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the global partner ecosystem using data-driven insights. Ensure the timely processing of rebates and incentive payments to global customers for above market incentives Design and implement a contracting strategy aligned with performance-based incentives and guardrails for discounting, rebates, A&P, co-op funds, and product offerings. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred. Solid understanding of commercial operations, preferably within animal health or related industries. Background in Strategic Pricing and Marketing highly preferred. Professional Experience Proven success in Key Account Management, preferably in a global or matrixed environment. Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and managing geographically diverse teams. Strong P&L and budget management experience. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments across commercial, enabling, and global functions. Track record of transformational leadership, with the ability to drive cultural alignment and operational excellence. Experience with strategic data utilization and performance measurement frameworks. Leadership & People Management Significant experience influencing and managing senior-level stakeholders and high-performing, diverse teams. Strong peer coaching and motivational leadership capabilities, with a focus on exceeding performance expectations. Language Skills Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
