- Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set.
- Participating in site selection reviews and site planning activities
- Critical Data Center equipment design including Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, MV:LV Transformers, Earthing. Life Safety and Fire Detection systems
- Design and collaborate with other disciplines to create a construction document set.
- Creating of designs which meet or exceed our quality requirements and fall within our budgetary requirements.
- Working with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment.
- Working with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements.
- Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements and building codes.
- Reviewing and approval of equipment submittals.
- Defining project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.
- Working with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
- Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
- Traveling to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Degree in an Electrical Engineering plus a cumulative 6+ years experience with power systems and mission critical electrical design.
- Excellent understanding of the European Electrical Codes coupled with detailed understanding of critical LV, MV and HV electrical equipment.
- Understanding of relays, protections schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing and the ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ability to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/construction plus the ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions and present the justification to management in a high level review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience directly related to data center or mission critical facility design.
- Previous consultant negotiation and management skills associated with design, construction and project managing of fast track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations and an ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability, or maintainability.
- Possess leadership and problem solving skills as a motivated, highly dependable individual

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers dedicated to Microprocessor Physical Design implementation and signoff. Apply your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Physical Design, Timing Closure, and Signoff to deliver high-quality, on-time results for large, challenging, and leading-edge CPU Core designs. Mentor, coach, and foster the growth of the CPU Core Physical Design Team, emphasizing a positive influence on team morale and culture. Provide technical leadership and oversight across all facets of Physical Design, including: Full Chip Floor planning Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS) Placement and Optimization Routing Parasitic Extraction Static Timing Analysis (STA) IR/EM analysis Physical Verification Final Signoff Collaborate closely with RTL teams to continuously enhance PPA metrics. Drive flow development and automation scripting. Utilize strong technical problem-solving and debugging skills to overcome complex design challenges. Preferred Experience 15+ years of hands-on experience in So C Physical Design implementation, signoff, and Tape Out. Proven leadership experience managing Physical Design teams of 10+ members is a must. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and excellent time management. Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools for Physical Design and Signoff flows, such as: Synopsys Fusion Compiler, Prime Time, Star RC Cadence Innovus Mentor Graphics Calibre Apache Redhawk Demonstrated experience leading technical teams through complex design cycles. Background in high-speed microprocessor designs. Familiarity with current sub-micron technologies. Solid understanding of Physical Design tools and flows, or custom circuit design. Key job responsibilities
- Driving improvement of design standards and project approaches across the organization.
- Work with third party design vendors to review concept designs and designs in progress to ensure they meet established design standards, local code requirements, and any other requirements of the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Be responsible for providing high quality water treatment advice on a wide variety of projects globally while working with global Mechanical engineering teams to achieve alignment of water treatment systems objectives.
- Coordinating with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams to answer requests for information and value engineering queries.
- Be responsible for code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and assessment, testing, inspections, and submittal review. Meet with AHJs as needed to ensure approval of water treatement features.
- This position will require up to 25% travel.
A day in the life
Primary responsibilities will be to perform and oversee project-related work, such as water supply analysis and design for buildings, including coordination with utilities and internal water teams to establish basic site infrastructure requirements. The ability to coordinate mechanical system space requirements, supporting utilities, and equipment locations, and to provide detailed construction specifications for water treatment systems. You will typically be responsible for the preparation of detailed designs for hydronic systems. You will review all design disciplines to ensure they meet the code requirements described in our design standards. In some cases, you will oversee and review this work and in other cases you will perform the work yourself.
As the team's subject matter expert, you will ensure that contractors have the information they need to build our data centers the way we expect them to, and that our operations teams are well equipped to operate and maintain them as needed to meet our goals. As part of this role you will work with internal and external stakeholders, including design engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, vendors, and other service providers, as well as local building and fire officials. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in design engineering or construction industry related to water quality
- Proficiency in site and campus water management
Strong understanding of water treatment design solutions
- Knowledge of local water laws, International Code Council requirements, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience directly related to process design, construction and maintenance of water systems within water treatment scope, ideally relating to application in industrial conditions, manufacturing, critical medical infrastructure, industrial, construction, or oil and gas.
- Technical experience of a range of treatment technologies including water softening, multi-media-filtration, pH correction, membrane-based treatment, disinfection (UV, AOP, Ozone),
- Experience with performance-based alternatives to prescriptive water treatment design.

You will be a part of the global BIM technology team responsible for implementing, managing, and adopting new BIM technologies and systems to support the design, construction, and operation of Amazon-owned data center facilities.
You will be responsible for administering and implementing new BIM systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of such tools and propose process improvements. You will work with BIM stakeholders to collect requirements and coordinate development with the engineering team.
Key job responsibilities
You must be able to work independently and with your team to complete tasks on time and without error. This includes working with internal teams as well as external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors. Your will:
- Administer BIM Common Data Environments, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (former BIM 360), and other technology solutions.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional experience administering and implementing BIM programs and systems.
- 3+ years of working with Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
