Role description:

Our Intern & Placement programme is designed to give you a hands-on insight into the work we do as a company and help to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, the programme is based on Arcadis' core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your 10–12-week internship or 12 month placement.

Role accountabilities:

Joining a multidisciplinary team, you will support our clients with their project needs covering aspects such as architectural, process, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, validation, and construction management services, across the industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. The design work will include electrical power, instrumentation, and building services across a range of pharmaceutical and industrial projects. You will be involved in the design and development of schematic diagrams and protection schemes for site electrical power distribution equipment and systems as well as creating semi-conductor tool install design packages, maintaining utility services matrix and/or databases and carry out design calculations for cable-sizing, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, power balance studying, and arc flash for all electrical systems.

• Accepted degrees: Level 7 Electrical Engineering and above

As a Summer Intern Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems that monitor and control manufacturing processes in pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare products. You will work primarily within the Engineer & Design sector, taking projects from Front End Design through to Detail Design and handover to clients, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance (like GMP, FDA), process optimization, product quality, and efficiency. You will gain a variation of work, experience, and challenges within the industry and partner with senior engineers.

Working on projects within the Semi-Conductor Manufacturing sector, you will be involved in bringing designs from concept development through detailed design to construction. You will also help generate specifications, provide technical analysis to clients, contribute to design reviews and continually learn about different technologies so as to deliver the best advice to our clients.

Role accountabilities:

Working in the Process Department you'll be operating as part of a team of Process Engineers conducting various design activities for projects within life sciences. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, which handles our client needs in the following areas: architectural, process, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, validation, and construction management services. You will gain an understanding of how these disciplines interact and the links that Process design deliverables have to other key activities in a design.

You will be continuously developing your capability in process design – through contributing to active projects as well as participating in regular training (both technical and personal) to develop a number of skills (such as presentation, communication, etc). It is likely your work will involve working on projects in some of the following key areas: sterile manufacturing, fill finish, bulk API, oral solid dosage, chemical manufacturing, and microelectronics.

Position Summary
Guggenheim Partners Europe Limited ('GPEL') is seeking to hire two 2027 graduates for Summer Internship roles. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a buy-side 'Front Office' investment team based in Dublin, operating as part of a globally recognized investment firm with $345bn of AUM*.

The role will focus on analysis of companies in the European corporate credit market in order to develop investment recommendations for leveraged loans, corporate bonds and private credit.

Basic Qualifications
