Role Description:
To support our continued growth, we have an opening to join the team as a Supply Chain Analyst.
Our supply chain analysts work with a team of experienced consultants to leverage the rich data within supply chains to highlight opportunities for performance improvement. They need to be comfortable in manipulating and analysing data in Excel and other analytical tools, be well-organised and have a keen attention to detail.
As we are frequently solving for unstructured problems with clients, business acumen and critical thinking skills will also be required to apply business learnings to the information provided.
While it is important that the individual comes with strong technical skills, it is equally important that the person shows a willingness to learn and bring their own perspectives as part of a high-performing team, interfacing directly with clients.

The day-to-day activities of the supply chain analyst include the following:
Provide analytical support for supply chain consulting engagements
Develop data-driven insights and improvements to supply chain practices with experienced consultants
Develop digital supply chain visualisations and conduct scenario-based analyses and optimisations
Support development and roll-out of AI use cases within client supply chains
Engage with client teams to understand current business flows and opportunities for improvement
Support process documentation and participate in process improvement projects
Conduct and maintain research on supply chain trends, disruptors and innovation
Assist with report writing, review and design where required
This hybrid role (3 days on site) is located at our offices close to Dunboyne, Co. Meath with requirement to travel to client sites when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience - preferably in a supply chain, engineering, finance or customer service role
- Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or related field
- Highly numerate and financially literate - well organised with strong attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Excel (mandatory) - with practical experience with data visualisation (Power BI) and data analytics tools (Python) preferred. The selection process may include practical demonstration of these skills
- Experience with AutoCad or similar tools an advantage, but not necessary
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills and keen interest in business

Remuneration and conditions:

Essential Requirements
- Master's level degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or applicable field

Role Overview
The Finance Analyst (Inventory) will play a key role in providing insight, analysis, and control over inventory within the contract manufacturing environment. This role will ensure inventory movements and valuations are accurate, highlight risks and opportunities, and partner with operations and supply chain to strengthen controls. The Finance Analyst will act as the bridge between finance and manufacturing, ensuring financial impacts of production activity are fully understood and clearly communicated.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide monthly analysis of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods balances.
- Review and explain inventory variances, including yield, scrap, usage, purchase price, and production efficiency.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to investigate discrepancies and improve accuracy.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to inventory (turns, ageing, excess/obsolete stock, scrap).
- Support the month-end close process by providing analysis on inventory-related accounts.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting of inventory and COGS.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess financial impact of operational changes.
- Support physical and cycle count processes, providing financial oversight and control.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy, control, and reporting.
- Prepare presentations and commentary for management to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or part-qualified actively studying.
- 3-5 years' experience in finance, FP&A, or inventory/operations analysis.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and strong Excel/data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with costing principles desirable but not essential (standard cost, BOMs).
- Ability to translate operational activity into financial outcomes.
