Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for Material Master set ups relevant to Waterford Supply Chain, whilst reviewing and maintaining the site medium- long term horizon planning. Working with cross functional teams you will ensure all master data is accurate and set up in a timely manner ensuring any New Product Introductions are coordinated and tracked from initial set up through to production. You will continually review the level loading of production volumes ensuring all customer orders are scheduled in sequence to meet required shipping dates.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Set Up Material Master, BOM, Recipe and Shop Floor System for all Finished Goods as per the Promenta process.
  • Set up Material Master for SFGs, Raw Materials and Consumables as per the Promenta process.
  • Complete New Item Checklists for all new items scheduled for production for the initial production run.
  • Maintain alternate production versions of Material Master Data where necessary for envision product
  • Ensure Master Data is set up to print customer item number on product labels where required.
  • Maintain Recipe Templates for different Process Types – RS, RU, Gamma, RU only etc.
  • Proactively liaise with Data Governance and I.T. to solve Master Data issues.
  • Maintain and publish relevant KPIs as required
  • Create, develop and analyse SAP BI Reports to support key decisions within Supply chain dept.
  • Maintain Power BI dashboard - extracting data as per business perspective to improve the business process.
  • Ensure Resources are set up correctly. Maintain Pooled Resources where required
  • Coordinate a cross-functional team to review, once per year and as a project, all parameters, routings, and standard costs for every SKU.
  • Liaise with Data Governance for Mass Upload requests.
  • Work with site stakeholders on New Product Implementation tracking the SKUs from set up to production.
  • Planning Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute master production schedule – COOISPI, co-ordinating with global planning and plant supply chain to monitor adherence to the plan.
  • Lead the planning process for the sheeting area
  • Ensure customer orders are scheduled correctly in line with shipping schedule, identify any potential scheduling constraints level loading production as required.
  • Review and monitor weekly absorption adherence
  • Support printing of batch cards when required
  • Update relevant SOIs in relation to the current processes
  • Act in accordance with the company's Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.
  • Compliance to all local site Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.

  • 3rd Level qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years in a similar role ideally within a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.

Job Summary
In this role, the Manager Product Supply Planning has end-to-end accountability, managing the mid-to-long-term planning horizon for global supply of a set of products across a global network of manufacturing sites to ensure excellent customer service. This role is the owner for the global supply of these products and is a key partner to Commercial, Demand Planning and Operations ensuring supply chain performance.   • Partner to Commercial, Product Management, Demand Planning and translates strategic supply plans into operational supply plans across a global network of manufacturing sites.
  • Execute inventory strategies/models for complex global supply chain networks (make stock, make to finish, make to order), gain alignment and implements recommendations.
  • Ensure execution of stocking and planning levels for the network and in alignment with financial goals.

Reporting to the Associate Director Global Supply Planning, the Supply Planning Manager in the Global Planning Organization ensures the availability of finished goods to fulfil demand by managing stock levels, stock provisions, and modes of distribution in conjunction with demand planning, commercial functions, and manufacturing operations.

This role is accountable for delivering a feasible volume-based supply plan for assigned products and business units, assessed end-to-end with exceptions highlighted and aligned with inventory entitlements.

The Product Planner plays a key role in the execution of the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and supports the improvement of processes, systems, tools, and capabilities within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyst:
    Translate network plans into short-term replenishment plans, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is maintained within healthy ranges. Establish critical inventory parameters, monitor and track inventory levels, and reconcile inventory variances. Deliver feasible volume-based supply plans monthly for assigned products and business units.
  • Systems Expert:
    Use and maintain planning systems to define safety stocks, replenishment frequency, and quantities. Leverage technology and analytics to simulate the impact of changes to key input parameters.
  • Internal Collaborator:
    Partner with key stakeholders in Global Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing Operations to support strategic and operational objectives. Develop and maintain inventory planning assumptions in conjunction with various teams.
  • Communicator/Reporter:

Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Supply Planning Analyst, located in Limerick, Ireland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our Global Supply Planning team, optimizing the Supply Network Planning (SNP) processes to ensure flawless supply chain operations. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, tracking, and reporting of variant (mod code) projects within the supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and resolution of variant-related issues.
  • Maintain and update supply status reports, track raw materials, components, and finished goods supply levels across multiple regions. Identify and escalate potential supply disruptions proactively.
  • Assist in coordinating supply chain activities related to new product launches, changes, or customizations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and production schedules.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate key supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates. Support continuous improvement initiatives based on supply data insights.
  • Work closely with global supply planners, procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow. Facilitate communication regarding supply risks, mod code changes, and project updates.
  • Maintain accurate records within the supply planning systems, interpret data to support decision-making, and assist in system updates related to mod code changes or other supply adjustments.
  • Support supplier communication efforts for supply confirmations, expediting shipments when necessary, and managing excess or obsolete inventories related to project variants.
  • Follow all operational procedures and support improvements to supply planning processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to supply chain activities.

How to Succeed

  • University Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) desirable.
  • 2-5 Years related experience
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred.
  • Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals.
  • Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others where appropriate.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles.

Job Description
We have a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning and Analytics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team.
The Supply Chain Planning and Analytics Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the site's planning processes and in supporting the strategic development of the Supply Chain department. The primary focus is on accurate forecasting, proactive capacity management, and timely introduction of supply chains for both new and existing products. This position aims to deliver robust end-to-end planning processes aligned with business goals, while continuously monitoring and addressing upstream risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the site's forecasting activities, integrating demand signals into actionable supply and inventory plans.
+ Oversee the Monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to synchronize supply and demand, ensuring accurate long- and short-term forecasts.
+ Support the Long-Range Planning (LRP) process to support strategic decision-making.
+ Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross functional & global partners, focusing on the alignment of supply, demand, and forecast accuracy.
+ Conduct capacity planning and scenario analysis, identifying any gaps in resource or capacity.
+ Define and govern safety stock policies in line with best-in-class inventory management and forecast error rates.
+ Support all aspects of planning, including MPS (Master Production Schedule), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and transitions for New Product Introductions (NPI).
+ Report on and analyse planning and operations performance metrics, using forecasting KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
+ Drive the adoption of OPEX/Lean initiatives, with a focus on enhancing forecast reliability and operational efficiency.
+ Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging forecasting insights to improve service levels and strategic alignment.
Supervision Received:
+ Reports to the Associate Director Supply Chain.
+ Operates with significant autonomy within the scope of the role, with goals reviewed regularly, including annual formal performance reviews.
Supervision Provided:
+ Guides cross-functional and cross-site supply chain groups towards data-driven decision making and high standards in business systems usage.
+ Sets and enforces data integrity standards for supply chain business systems.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline required.
Experience:
+ Minimum 3 years in planning, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing environments with a strong forecasting component.
+ At least 5 years' total experience in Manufacturing or Supply chain.
+ Proven experience in forecasting, S&OP, Capacity planning, and or inventory management.
+ Demonstrable success in process improvement initiatives.
+ Proficient with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP.

Manager, Product Supply Planning - Cork or Dublin ( Hybrid role)
Reporting to the Associate Director Global Supply Planning, the Manager, Product Supply Planning in the Global Planning Organization ensures the availability of finished goods to fulfil demand by managing stock levels, stock provisions, and modes of distribution in conjunction with demand planning, commercial functions, and manufacturing operations.

This role is accountable for delivering a feasible volume-based supply plan for assigned products and business units, assessed end-to-end with exceptions highlighted and aligned with inventory entitlements.

The Product Planner plays a key role in the execution of the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and supports the improvement of processes, systems, tools, and capabilities within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyst: Translate network plans into short-term replenishment plans, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is maintained within healthy ranges. Establish critical inventory parameters, monitor and track inventory levels, and reconcile inventory variances. Deliver feasible volume-based supply plans monthly for assigned products and business units.
  • Systems Expert: Use and maintain planning systems to define safety stocks, replenishment frequency, and quantities. Leverage technology and analytics to simulate the impact of changes to key input parameters.
  • Internal Collaborator: Partner with key stakeholders in Global Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing Operations to support strategic and operational objectives. Develop and maintain inventory planning assumptions in conjunction with various teams.
  • Communicator/Reporter: Report on service, back orders, short stock, excess items, and slow-moving inventory. Communicate KPI performance and executive reporting, including mitigations and proactive supply risk management.
  • Process Improver: Improve and upgrade inventory systems and reporting. Drive proactive action plans for excess and obsolete (E&O) reductions.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge: Proficient understanding of overall supply planning processes finished goods planning concepts, and end-to-end global supply chain processes.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to generate insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis, and proficiency in using SAP and inventory planning systems and common data software such excel and Power BI for scenario planning execution. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams . Ability to adapt and adopt existing and emerging technologies in the field to produce better results for their company.

Education and Training:

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum 8 years of practical leadership experience in Sales & Operation Planning, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Data Analytics, or other related functions.
  • Desired: Hands-on experience working with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate best alternatives.

Success Criteria:

  • Finished Goods Plan: A view of the most likely development of finished goods inventory with ranges to support fulfilment of customer demand and drive capacity requirements. Metrics include service, finished goods inventory value, scrap, and process health metrics.

As part of the Supply Chain Product Management team,
