- Support the day to day delivery of specific short-term transformation and long-term transformation elements of the ICFR project plan, focused on IT controls at the group and within the divisions. This includes IT general controls across the full spectrum of IT domains and IT automated controls.

Overview
The Physical Security Design Engineer will be responsible for providing design engineering services for low voltage and physical security systems. This role involves the design, drafting, and modeling of systems such as access control, CCTV, and gate systems using various design tools and software. The engineer will also author and curate documents related to design specifications, operational performance requirements (OPRs), narratives, and approved bills of materials.
This position is hybrid up to 50% across EMEA.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Utilize design tools and software such as AutoCAD, BIM360, Revit, and Bluebeam to design and model low voltage and physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and gate systems.
- Author and curate all documents related to design specifications, OPRs, narratives, and approved bills of materials.
- Interpret engineering drawings with electrical concepts, wiring diagrams, and schematics related to low voltage systems.
- Implement design improvements that address lessons learned, enhance functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve design issues and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of all drawings to adhere to security systems and engineering standards and specifications.
- Stay informed about the latest drafting technologies, standards, and industry trends.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Requirements Management
Elicit, analyse, and document requirements from business stakeholders for all phases of the project.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and testable user stories and functional specifications.
- Manage and prioritise the backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Conduct gap analysis to identify missing or conflicting requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to define and validate requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the business, development, and quality assurance teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, risks, and issues effectively.
Ensure alignment between the business vision and the project's technical implementation.
Cross-Project Collaboration
Establish and maintain strong communication channels with the Project team, including their BA and project sponsor.
- Identify and manage interdependencies and potential conflicts between the two projects.
- Make a significant contribution to the development of a common reporting entity template that minimises duplication and delivers maximum effect.
- Collaborate on platform-level requirements to ensure a cohesive and non-conflicting architecture.
Participate in joint planning sessions to proactively address any potential resource or delivery timeline clashes.
Solution Design and Support
Collaborate with the solution architect to design solutions that meet business needs and align with the platform's long-term strategy.
- Support the development team throughout the build process by clarifying requirements and addressing questions.
- Assist in the creation of UAT plans and scripts, and support UAT execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale IT projects.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with shared platforms and managing cross-project dependencies.
- Knowledge of the European and Irish pensions regulatory environment.
- Experience with process mapping and business process re-engineering.
