What you will be doing Lead the design of Enterprise scale Salesforce based solutions across a range of clients Support delivery teams in driving innovation and Salesforce best practice in the implementation of client solutions Support Solution planning and estimation Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design and delivery practices of our solutions Own the technical delivery to ensure a quality product throughout the full project lifecycle Act as a role model for the team by always demonstrating the highest standards in technical design and development Provide training and coaching to the software developers in the teams Conduct quality reviews of our implementation to ensure they meet our high standards What we are looking for Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment Experienced Salesforce Architect with a strong technical background Expert understanding of Design Patterns and Architectural Styles Strong delivery experience leveraging major capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem e.g.

Core platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud etc Strong integration experience and knowledge, particularly leveraging platforms such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica and other enterprise middleware Agile delivery experience Excellent problem solving and communication skills Multiple Salesforce certifications expected, particularly in the Salesforce Architect domain Preferable Skills, Experience & Qualifications Experience with Health Cloud or other Industry Clouds would be an advantage Broader industry certifications would be of interest such as TOGAF, SAFe etc.

Technical Architect - Hybrid

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is hybrid, with 6 days per month on-site in Dublin.

You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical design documents across various functional areas. You will also participate in requirement analysis, supporting designs through the development process, presenting and defending designs at architecture design forums, and providing reviews of design documents for peers.

Technical Architect - Key Skills:

  • 7+ years' experience in software development.

  • Knowledge of SOLID principles, IoC (Autofac preferred), and strong OO skills.
  • Proficiency in UML and modelling techniques.

About The Role:

As an early Technical Architect on Notion's Professional Services team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing technical solutions that drive successful customer engagements, particularly for large-scale enterprise deployments. Your work will help shape best practices for how we support complex customer needs and ensure Notion's platform is ready for scale.

This is a highly cross-functional role, collaborating closely with customers as well as Notion's Product, Engineering, CX (Support), and Sales teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Contribute to the technical aspects of customer engagements, including understanding customer requirements, designing technical solutions, and supporting the implementation of these solutions.

  • Work closely with client stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions that maximize the value of the Notion platform within their technical ecosystem.

  • Participate in technical design sessions, helping to architect and document solutions that align with client objectives and identifying gaps between their current and desired end states.

  • Support the technical delivery of customer development, integrations, and data migration aspects of a Notion implementation.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance and expand the use of Notion within customer organizations.

  • Collaborate with Notion's Product, CX, and Engineering teams to address technical challenges and provide customer feedback.

  • Assist in navigating the technical complexities of large-scale Notion deployments to ensure successful adoption.

  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Professional Services team by sharing best practices and improving processes.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical consulting, solutions engineering, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python.

  • Hands-on experience with APIs and data integration.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences effectively.

  • A track record of delivering customer value by translating technical challenges into practical solutions at scale.

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience working in SaaS professional services, preferably in a startup environment

  • Background in developing technical frameworks and best practices

  • Strong history of collaboration with product and engineering teams

  • Experience in pre-sales technical support

  • Strong track record of successful enterprise customer implementations
