Description
The Sustainable Energy BU's purpose is to engineer a decarbonized, cleaner, and more sustainable electrified future. Developing solutions for the digitized grid, renewable energy generation, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, smart meters and electrified powertrain, the group supports customers with breakthrough technology to convert, manage, and store electrical power.

The transformation of the energy grid continues to accelerate. We are looking to make several appointments for key positions within the group.

The Role
The Senior System Integration Engineer will lead the design and delivery of innovative energy system software solutions to customers in the electric energy ecosystem, from green energy generation and power conversion to energy storage systems to powering electric drive trains. Product types include advanced smart meters, photovoltaic (PV) inverters, EV fast chargers, On-board Chargers, and E-drive systems. The role requires a flexible and highly skilled software engineer with expertise in electronic system and application software design while possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should relish finding elegant solutions to complex system level challenges.

  • Develop embedded system software from concept, through architecture and design to production.
  • Develop software on target systems that operate on bare-metal or real-time OS-based framework, on an ARM or other embedded processors. Lead code reviews with project team.
  • Contribute to the software architecture based on requirements and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders including software, hardware, application engineers for timely software delivery to customers.
  • Contribute to process and tools for efficient development and delivery of software.
  • Contribute to hardware in loop (HIL) system with continuous integration toolchain and automated test scripts.
  • Contribute to lab evaluation, debug, and optimization of embedded system functionality and performance.

Requirements
Strong candidates will have many of the following experiences and qualifications:

  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering; MSEE and 4+ years of experience preferred.
  • Strong C, C++ programming and debugging skills. Strong in Python or other scripting languages.
  • Experience using ARM development tools such as Keil, IAR, Eclipse, mBed, GCC.
  • Experience with Linux, FreeRTOS and/or other embedded OS.
  • Experience in Agile software development system like SVN, GIT, JIRA.
  • Experience with unit testing, code coverage and associated tools.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and software development process.
  • Experience writing higher level application software in the electric energy space is a plus.
  • Innovative, analytical problem-solver with curiosity and interest to develop on leading-edge embedded hardware and applications, and a bias to action.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and set priorities to deliver on schedule.

As an HL7 FHIR Integration Specialist - EHR Systems, you will serve as a liaison between end-users and provide advisory support to build and maintain health data integration components, collaborating with other information management resources within the growing Epic application team. Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a vital link between end-users and our technology solutions, focusing on HL7, FHIR standards and health system integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration components within Epic EHR system, ensuring scalability and efficiency for FHIR and EMR-specific API integrations
  • Collaborate with our diverse team to translate complex business requirements into practical healthcare IT solutions
  • Assist with building interfaces and data conversion for Epic EMR implementation along with post go-live support following deployment of new interface or a new EMR implementation

As an HL7 FHIR Integration Specialist - EHR Systems, you will serve as a liaison between end-users and provide advisory support to build and maintain health data integration components, collaborating with other information management resources within the growing Epic application team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital link between end-users and our technology solutions, focusing on HL7, FHIR standards and health system integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration components within Epic EHR system, ensuring scalability and efficiency for FHIR and EMR-specific API integrations
  • Collaborate with our diverse team to translate complex business requirements into practical healthcare IT solutions
  • Assist with building interfaces and data conversion for Epic EMR implementation along with post go-live support following deployment of new interface or a new EMR implementation
  • Reviews, builds, tests, and implements new functionality via System Upgrades and Special Updates
  • Responsible for development and documentation of internal procedures to use in conjunction with Epic applications
  • Offer technical guidance on significant projects and mentor junior team members in Epic interface and system integrations

Require Qualifications:

  • Experience working with developing interfaces on integration / interoperability engines (at least one) such as InterSystems, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, Microsoft BizTalk, Corepoint, Qvera, IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere Message Broker or other similar
  • Understanding of software testing approaches and prior experience performing unit testing, integration testing, etc.
  • Experience mentoring and providing subject matter expertise to junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

About the role

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically savvy and hands-on IT Asset Management Integration Specialist to lead the technical design and implementation of integration solutions between SolarWinds and ServiceNow. This role will be responsible for architecting and executing end-to-end asset management workflows, including data polling, mapping, and CMDB population. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in technical design, flow creation, and system integration, ensuring seamless and scalable asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document integration flows, technical diagrams, and data models for SolarWinds ServiceNow asset management.
  • Define field-level mapping and transformation logic for CMDB population.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration blueprints and configuration guides.
  • Develop and configure integration components using ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID servers, and SolarWinds APIs.
  • Build and test polling mechanisms to extract asset data from SolarWinds and ingest into ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Implement dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide Real Time visibility into asset inventory and lifecycle.
  • Deploy and maintain IT asset tracking processes from procurement through disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing and inventory policies.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to align integration efforts.
  • Integrate CMDB processes with change management to ensure accurate tracking of configuration items.
  • Participate in governance and review boards to validate integration strategies and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Operations Management with a focus on IT Asset Management and integrations.
  • Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, SolarWinds, and integration tools (eg, IntegrationHub, REST APIs).
  • Strong understanding of ITOM principles and CMDB architecture.
  • Experience with Scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell), data transformation, and workflow automation.

Key Competencies:

  • Technical Stack Knowledge - proficiency in ServiceNow, SolarWinds, CMDB, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, JavaScript, PowerShell, and MID servers.
  • Integration Tooling -experience with data transformation tools, workflow automation platforms, and API-based integrations.
