The overall purpose of the role is to manage tax compliance for clients and to provide a strong tax advice service to the client base. The firms client base is varied and diverse operating in a multitude of industries and jurisdictions.
As a Manager/Senior Manager in our Tax Department, you will be involved in:
- Management, review and completion of corporation tax portfolio and associated returns for corporate clients.
- Management, drafting, review and completion of income tax & partnership returns for private client portfolio.
- Capital gains tax including research on applicable reliefs and tax planning as
- Capital taxes arising for both private and corporate entities including research on applicable reliefs and tax planning opportunities available.
- Provision of advice in relation to VAT and indirect tax matters including property transactions on an ad hoc basis.
- Corresponding with Revenue with respect to Compliance Intervention Notifications, advising clients on availability of phased payment arrangement and other Revenue queries as they might arise.
- Researching tax technical compliance matters to advise clients appropriately and make appropriate returns including R&D tax credit and interest limitation rules.
- Management and oversight of tax team in order to achieve tax department objectives and other key metrics.
- Identifying cross selling opportunities within our compliance portfolio and referring same to the wider firm.
- Preparation of ad-hoc tax planning reports for our clients across all relevant tax heads.
- Mentoring, coaching, motivating and training our tax team to be best in class in the delivery of compliance services and playing an active role in their performance appraisal process.

Role Summary
The tax team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Tax Manager/Senior Manager to support the direct tax compliance and provisioning process for up to 25 entities in the EMEA region
The ideal candidate will have previous corporate tax experience in a multinational/Big 4 environment who is looking to get broader experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage quarterly and yearly current and deferred tax provisions for group reporting under US GAAP and annual statutory disclosures under IFRS for multiple group companies. This would include the preparation and review of workings, working with the EMEA and Global Tax and Finance teams as well as dealing with financial auditors and local advisors as required.
- Partner with the wider Finance teams on the statutory account preparation process
- Work with and manage external service providers as required in order to meet our corporate tax and withholding tax compliance and payment obligations across each jurisdiction with the assistance of the Senior Tax Analyst
- Manage the R&D tax credit process including preparing calculations, identifying and working with the appropriate internal teams and liaising with external advisors
- Work closely with the Treasury team to ensure appropriate funding and hedging in place for upcoming tax payments as well as working with the team on proposed investment strategies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external tax advisors and local tax authorities
- Work closely with Legal, Finance and the wider business to provide commercially focused and actionable guidance, advice and support on tax related matters
- Assist the EMEA and Global Tax Teams with tax projects such as tax system implementation/automation and the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the Tax Director and Global Tax team on tax planning strategies and opportunities
- Keep up to date with legislative developments and ensuring the implications of all legislative changes are addressed appropriately
- Support and manage tax audits/enquiries as they arise
- This role will also incorporate some other tasks in the tax department such as preparing and maintaining process documentation, maintaining compliance and risk trackers and supplier engagement and fee management
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Required
- Irish Tax Institute qualified/Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Experience Required
- Minimum 6 years Corporate Tax experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office especially Outlook/Excel/Word/Power BI etc.
- ERP experience, ideally Oracle/SAP
- Experience with data analytics tools/tax software an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills & initiative with the ability to adhere to strict timelines
- Able to work well as part of a team and influence cross functional groups as well as proven ability to develop effective working relationships

We are currently seeking a Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor to lead the delivery of international tax compliance services within our growing organisation. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Preparation/Review of domestic and international income tax compliance matters including the accurate preparation and timely filing of tax returns, estimated tax payments.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end consolidated tax provision.

Team Overview
The Finance Risk Operations TIR unit in Dublin has primary responsibility for the documentation validation process for the Global and Direct Custody businesses. What you will do
