This role is responsible for designing and coordinating development of end-to-end bespoke logistics solutions for customers and internal stakeholders, across transportation, warehousing and freight forwarding operations.

What is the role about?
This role is responsible for the coordination of the cost benefits, project schedule, and other details of a project through the appropriate applications and reporting. This role will lead and guide the work of the project team and will serve as a point of contact in a multi stakeholder environment.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Manage the project (Global technical and integration application projects).
- Plan the project (Technical projects in accordance with company projects goals).
- Deliver the project (with time and budget considerations).
- Motivate the project team (utilise skillsets and capabilities to benefit individuals and the project)
- Resource the project (and budgeting those resources effectively).
- Liaise with Stakeholders in SAP, API's, Carrier EDI platforms and TMS integration layer.
- Manage the Project through Solution stage, Scheduling, Development (Agile), Test, QA, Production (incl. migrations), Go live, Hypercare, Business as usual, and project learnings.
- Any other duties commensurate with your capabilities and as requested by your manager.
What do we expect from you?
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Understanding solutions/systems architecture would be beneficial.
- PMI, IIPM or related accreditation and experience will be considered.
- Experience working on projects with integration layers such as, CLEO Integration Cloud, Retarus cloud EDI integration, SEEBURGER, Complete EDI solutions, EDI engine or similar.
- Experience working on Transport management Platforms/solutions or carrier integration solutions.
- Technical project Lifecycle management.
- Knowledge working with SAP, API's, Carrier EDI platforms, TMS integration layer.
- Knowledge in working with EDI, ANSI, EDIFACT, XML and IDOC integrations standards.
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and able to focus on detail-orientated work for long periods of time.
- Ability to coordinate and control the system tests at the integration layer level with a process by process sign off/validation methodology.

What You Will Be Doing
The responsibilities of the Project Manager will be:
- Day-to-day support and assistance to Project Managers in the management of diverse multi-disciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders across a range of sectors.
- Liaison, coordination and management of internal stakeholders, Clients, third-party Consultants, Contractors, and other Stakeholders as appropriate.
- Facilitation, attendance, and contribution to meetings with Clients and stakeholders and in-house Senior Managers.
- Contributing to and implementing the development of the overall approach to the business to meet the desired objectives and outcomes.
- Provision of specific support and assistance to Technical Leads to drive commercial performance and overall project delivery.
- Ensure implementation of best practice and corporate policies and practices in project delivery.
- Preparation and support in developing and maintenance of monthly reports for delivery to senior management.
- Critically reviews project documentation and tracking costs, schedule, risk, resourcing etc to assess health of projects and identify and escalate issues early.
- Focus on change and scope management to ensure contract requirements are met. Address and respond to claims or disputes.
- Grow our business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and supporting expansion into new markets
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

- Demonstrated technical proficiency in project management, execution, and delivery and / or portfolio management experience, along with the ability to adapt, innovate and meet changing demands.

- Strong technical experience in delivery of projects in engineering consultancies and/or related construction projects.
- Have a good knowledge & experience of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- Proven knowledge and experience of working with/to accredited Integrated Management Systems & Standards including quality, environment, health-and-safety, data security, risk, BIM etc.
- Strong planning and organisational skills and directing tasks and activities of teams.
- Ability to set up ongoing procedures to collect and review information as needed.
- Strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies and industry best practice.
- Proven track record in dealing with complex / escalated issues, proactively and in a timely fashion and ability to achieve results within the set timeframe.
- Strong and demonstrable management skills including project management, procurement, contract management, financial and change management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a diverse multi-disciplinary team with excellent people management skills.

Qualifications
The desired qualifications and experience for the Senior Project Manager are:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification (Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree) in project management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in project management, project delivery and execution across projects of varying size and complexity.
- Chartered Engineer or close to attaining Chartership.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of the project team
- Manage project controls through WSP and client systems
- Interface with client team counterpart to determine client expectations. Acting as a trusted advisor
- Review and advise on the contract scope and discuss with project delivery team
- Management of the interface between the Client and WSP
- Management of reporting and cost controls in collaboration with the Technical Manager on the project
- Forecasting and cost to complete reporting to client (using client specified method and processes) and internally using off-line workbooks and online using Business World application
- Delivering risk workshops where appropriate (in line with internal and client expectations)
- Ensure the team are aware and able to fulfil the monthly forecast hours in line with the programme
- Undertake scheduling in collaboration with the Technical Manager on the project
- Developing KPIs with for project reporting
- You will ensure that quality procedures are being adhered to through discussion with the lead referencers and Technical Manager
- Set up regular internal / external (in collaboration with the Client PM) progress meetings
- Discuss where efficiencies could be made to give the client 'added value'
- You will ensure that the project has sufficient resources to meet the demand of the programme - in collaboration with the office team leader and those leading on GIS and PinPoint
- Manage a delivery team of land referencers, GIS Technicians and data managers
- Have a working knowledge of the DCO, CPO or hybrid Bill processes to support technical delivery.

Qualifications
- Membership of a Professional Institution
- APM PMQ , Prince2 or similar Project Management qualification
- Ability to interrogate, question and challenge information
- Ability to coordinate the submission of accurate reports to predetermined deadlines
- Understanding of project management, project controls and procedures normally associated with a major integrated infrastructure project
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Project (or Primavera P6)
- Previous experience of commercial contract/ project management
- Experience managing internal teams and interfacing with client organisations
Experience:
- Demonstrable Project Management experience
- Evidence of experience within regulated industries;

A Day In The Life
The PL Is accountable for the overall delivery of the project (quality, time, cost) on behalf of the organization. Establishes and communicates customer expectations to the project team with minimal direction. Ensures that escalation pathways are adhered to internally and externally. Leads the cross-functional project team to meet or exceed deliverables. Manages project(s) of increasing complexity (such as but not limited to: multi-service, multi-region/country, therapeutic complexity, financial scope).
- Serves as the primary contact and lead between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
- On projects where the scope requires, ensures clear delineation in responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads (such as lead in a specific region, lead for a specific vendor(s) or subset of delivery).
- Drives and owns the overall delivery of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality).
- Ensures financial stewardship at a project level by demonstrating an intimate understanding of the contract, resource alignment to budget, management of Out of Scope activity, drive the Con Mod process/negotiations and team execution to timelines.
- Establishes, communicates and manages customer expectations to achieve optimal delivery during the project.
