+ Provide level 1 support of business systems issue resolution. Liaise with the IS service desk / Applications Support Team / supervisor and respond to queries in a timely manner to ensure conformance.
+ Assist / provide input in the development of hardware and software maintenance and troubleshooting guidelines. Liaise with production department engineers and other support personnel and groups to identify and solve problems.
+ Participate in tiered daily improvement process and update/inform appropriately in relation to equipment/technical issues.
+ Assist with the drive for 'Cost Reduction Initiatives' across the site from providing ideas though to implementation. This should also include Energy Saving Opportunities (ESOs)
+ Ensure any training is completed within the agreed timeframe

**Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills**
+ Certificate /Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation / Manufacturing is required
+ 2+ years' experience working in a regulated environment and/or experience in maintenance or engineering required.
+ Experience in the following areas, - Hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's, Automation highly advantageous.
+ Formal training / certification in any of the above also advantageous
+ Understand specification & schematic drawings, interpret equipment manuals and working from same

**What You Can Expect**
Responsible for the maintaining, constructing, installing, moving, and repairing all production machinery and equipment. This includes specialized equipment, lift trucks, storage racks, conveyors, lighting, plumbing, and all equipment required for factory and office operations. Provide front line systems support for all equipment.
**How You'll Create Impact**
+ Complies with all company safety rules and procedures
+ Monitors and reacts in a timely manner to routine demand maintenance requirements
+ Participates in routine Preventative/ Predictable Maintenance
+ Troubleshoots equipment stoppages and reacts accordingly
+ Utilizes various mechanical and electrical test equipment
+ Plans, assists, documents, and implements process improvement techniques and devices
+ Utilizes machining, electrical and mechanical trade skills to complete daily tasks
+ Capable of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical or pneumatic systems quickly and document the recovery
+ Has experience in Production related Continuous Improvement project execution and documentation
+ Communicates with production and other various customers as needed
+ Ensure critical spares are maintained where necessary
+ Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to produce technical reports and update drawings. Light machining and welding skills. Light fabrication skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. able to interpret and produce mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
+ Performs other tasks as assigned by management
+ Ability to work across different shifts when requested
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
+ Good understanding of FDA regulated industry and associated equipment validation requirements

**What Makes You Stand Out**
+ Experience using a Computerizes Maintenance recording system (e.g. SAP, PEMAC etc.)
+ Strong electrical and controls capabilities
+ Experience in maintaining CNC Milling machines a plus
+ Experience with repair of hand tools, operating machine tools, electrical measuring instruments
+ Experience on CNC machine tools diagnostics and repair including spindle bearing, ball screws, spindle headstocks, axis feed systems, and hydraulics/ pneumatics
+ Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and fixing, Additive Manufacturing Equipment/ Process
+ Experience using CAD software
+ PLC Control logic troubleshooting
+ Strong electrical and controls capabilities
+ Strong Mechanical and electro Pneumatics capabilities
+ Computer literate with MS Office skills
**Your Background**
+ Certificate in Manufacturing Technology or Mechanical/ Automation Engineering or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years practical hands on experience in an industrial setting
**Licenses/ Certifications**
+ Maintenance Platform, Forklift, MEWP
