+ Level 8 degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
+ 4 years relevant experience in a team based regulated manufacturing environment, and ideally previous supervisory experience.
+ Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements and current Health and Safety Regulations legislation.
+ Proven experience practicing Lean tools.
+ Business understanding of operations and their impacts essential.
+ High level of PC skills.
+ Strong communication skills with both Internal and external agents.
+ An ability to facilitate a team of engineers to deliver a specific objective.

AbbVie Ballytivnan is a Centre of Excellence for Precision High Volume Moulding and Auto-Assembly, and is a state-of-the-art Biologics aseptic fill finish facility.
We are looking for an ADC Technical Manager to provide technical support and day-to-day program management to all new product introductions (NPIs) sitewide across 3 departments which will include ADC conjugation, BT1 and ADCBT2. The position is based in Sligo and report the Technical Operations Manager. The successful candidate will provide team leadership to the NPI product team, process team and ADC team. Roles and Responsibilities
+ Lead and support NPI activities for product, processes and technology from early-stage development through to PPQ.
+ Lead and manage cross functional teams across different skillsets and disciplines to perform activities required to deliver NPI's.
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams including Process Development, Science & Technology (PDS&T), Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and ECM to facilitate the smooth transition of new products from development to commercialization.
+ Complete all site fit assessments for all the products from AbbVie pipeline and ECM opportunities
+ Provide technical direction and oversight and coordinate support for NPI activities across the entire biological manufacturing area

The Package: ,000 ,000 depending on experience Full-time, permanent role Pension, benefits, and career development opportunities Key Responsibilities: Lead and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with BRC, HACCP, and customer standards Oversee staff training, internal audits, and compliance reporting Manage food safety, quality, and customer specifications for all products Approve labels and artwork for compliance with food legislation Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions Manage product and environmental testing and report performance trends Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare for audits and inspections Lead R&D initiatives for new product development and customer projects Provide technical support to production teams and supervise lab operations Stay up to date with relevant food safety legislation and update processes as required What Youll Need: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field Proven experience in a senior quality or technical role within the food sector Strong understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food law compliance Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Apply now with your CV to discuss this opportunity in confidence with Darrylat Talent Curve Recruitment.
