We are recruiting for positions of Social Care Workers & Support Workers to work as part of a dynamic team supporting Individuals within the Kildare Services. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing. They will be given the opportunities and resources to encourage and motivate individuals in pursuing their personal interests and life goals. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Social Care Workers & Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life. The roster will include days, weekends, waking nights and sleepovers.

Requirements:
Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Disability/social Care Practice (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications) which are CORU approved. Please note Social Care candidates must be registered with or in the process of registering with CORU. Or HSE recognised Fetac / QQI Level 5 Major award or willingness to complete.
A valid driving licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
- Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities/autism.
- Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
- Good connections in the local community an advantage.
- Ability to use own initiative and plan effectively.
- Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.

Please note that the successful candidates will be required to be available for any of day, weekend, waking night duty and 'sleep-over / over-night' shifts. In addition, we require staff members to be willing to work alone in the residents' homes.

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Construction Workers with a specialty in formwork and/ or concrete work to join our clients team. The successful candidates will have a solid background in various types of large construction projects, with a particular focus on formwork for concrete. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is ready to take on challenges in different construction environments and contribute to the success of our projects. In particular, this role will involve work on roads and bridge construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help prepare and install formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Work with concrete, including mixing, pouring, and finishing, to create structural components such as walls, floors, and beams.
- Help read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other construction documents to determine project requirements.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure timely and efficient completion of formwork and concrete work.
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Operate a variety of heavy tools and equipment used in construction, ensuring proper maintenance and safety practices are followed.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, adhering to all safety policies and procedures on the construction site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in heavy concrete and laboruing work in the construction industry.
- Experience in Heavy civils work will be a major advantage.
- Experience in large projects will be a major advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials related to formwork and concrete work.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, with knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
