Min 5 to 8 yrs in Test Automation
Test Analyst will be working on multiple goals/objectives to drive quality and testing execution for customers in the BFSI Segments. The Primary responsibilities and tasks will include:
5 years of experience in automating various GUI/non-GUI based applications using Selenium WebDriver and Java language
Experience in at least one project implementing BDD (behaviour driven development) using Cucumber/Jbehave and CI (continuous integration) using Jenkins.
Experience in GIT, Bitbucket, Maven
Experience in testing backend application components like SQLServer, Oracle database, middleware message queues(IBM MQ)
Extensive experience in test automation framework design, development and enhancement for at least 2 projects.
Hands-on Experience in writing SQL queries
Must have hand-on experience in writing scenarios and testcases from requirements & user stories
Well versed with data-driven Test Automation using MS Excel / XML / Database driven Tests
Understand data structure, data interfaces and how data flows and transforms from source systems to the downstream systems
Understand the functionality + Technology and able to adopt into a techno-functional automation tester role
Excellent communication skills – within and outside of the organization, across teams, with customers – both horizontally and vertically, is important.
A good team player and ready to take up additional responsibilities when required.

Cubic is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, who is committed to their work, and capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment to join the Test System Team withing the DevOps and Quality Assurance group.
This team is responsible for providing test automation solutions, to support the Cubic engineering teams by building and maintaining test automation frameworks and tooling. The successful candidate is expected to bring an open, collaborative and innovative approach to their work.

- Driving best-in-class test automation principles within the engineering group working as a Senior Subject Matter expert.
- Working closely with Engineering Managers and architecture to align and implement best practices.

Responsibilities
As a Data & Databricks Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing frameworks for Databricks-based solutions, data pipelines, and data quality validation. You will work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability across our Lakehouse architecture.

- Databricks Testing
- Design and implement automated testing for Databricks notebooks and workflows
- Create test frameworks for Delta Lake tables and ACID transactions
- Develop automated validation for structured streaming pipelines
- Test MLflow integrations and model tracking
- Validate Delta Live Tables implementations
- Data Pipeline Testing
- Automate testing for ETL/ELT processes in Databricks
- Implement Spark job testing and optimization validation
- Create test cases for data ingestion and processing workflows
- Develop automated checks for data transformations
- Test Unity Catalog features and access controls
- AWS Integration Testing
- Implement automated testing for Databricks-AWS integrations

Qualifications
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications in Databricks or data testing are a plus
- Technical Experience
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark)
- Strong programming skills in Python (PySpark) and SQL
- Experience with data testing frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda)
- Understanding of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
