We are currently looking for a Trades Foreperson for our large scale residential project in Swords. Key Responsibilities & Duties include: Assess work activities to be carried out, plan the resources required in conjunction with the site program to ensure that deadlines are met and related works are carried out in the correct sequence Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site Liaise and communicate closely with the design team, Site Manager and other stakeholders Complete the online daily site diary, relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors Provide training and technical advice to the site team Effective planning of tasks and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet deadlines Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time Requirements Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience) Background in residential developments essential Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated Benefits Competitive salary in one of Ireland's fastest growing PLCs Comprehensive health insurance for you and your dependents Contributory pension scheme An exciting Wellness Programme with events and activities running throughout the year Access to our Digital Gym Employee Assistance Programme Paid Volunteering days Performance related bonus Regular compensation reviews Long term illness cover Peace of mind with life assurance Paid maternity leave, as well as paternity leave for fathers If you're cycling, we've got you covered on the cycle- to- work scheme Glenveagh is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates from all sections of the community.
