Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in commercial vehicle sales (LGV, HGV, trucks, or vans).
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Knowledge of vehicle finance and leasing options.
Highly motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
Full, clean driving licence (C/CE licence desirable but not essential).
Familiarity with the Irish commercial vehicle market is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
Drive sales of new and used LGVs, HGVs, trucks, and vans across Limerick and the wider Munster region.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with both fleet and individual buyers.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, negotiations, and closing deals.
Provide guidance on financing, leasing, and after-sales services.
Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and product knowledge sessions.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

We have an immediate vacancy for a Light Vehicle Commercial Sales Executive to sell the Iveco light range of commercial vehicles. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with existing clients, whilst sourcing new business in your assigned sales territory. You are likely to have a proven sales background from within the motor industry and or transport industry. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and have the capacity to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have an enthusiastic personality, an ability to converse at all levels and the drive to be a top performer. You may already be in a different sector of the automotive or automotive linked industry and want a change of career. This position would ideally suit someone who has an inbuilt belief in their capabilities and an insatiable drive for success.
Essential criteria:
You will have current experience in selling commercial vehicles which must be demonstrable.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be a highly driven person able to work independently with a hunger to sell.
You will be someone who prides themselves in doing what you say you are going to do.
You will have a desire to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.
You will be IT literate and proficient in the use of software such as Microsoft word and excel.
You will have a minimum full valid driving Category B licence.
Desirable criteria:
Experience within a similar role in a target driven environment of the automotive industry.
Experience of the Kerridge DMS would be advantageous.
Knowledge and experience in operating a CRM system.

The Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive / Manager will be responsible for driving retail sales of Farizons commercial and electric vehicle product lines, building and maintaining client relationships (especially with fleet operators, logistics companies, trades people etc), achieving sales targets, and helping Frank Keane Farizon establish and grow its market share in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, develop and close new business opportunities with fleet, logistics, delivery, and other commercial clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: lead generation, product presentation & demo, quoting, negotiation, closing, delivery.
- Present and demonstrate Farizons product range, highlight benefits (especially EV-specific: total cost of ownership, charging infrastructure, performance, reliability).
- Build relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business, referrals, and upsells (e.g. accessories, maintenance contracts, finance packages).
- Forecast sales, track targets, report sales metrics regularly.
- Stay up to date with the market: competitor offerings, regulatory changes, incentives or grants for EVs, charging infrastructure developments.
- Work with internal teams (marketing, aftersales, operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth delivery / handover process.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, client visits and product launches as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong track record in commercial vehicle / fleet sales (ideally with some electric vehicle experience), or relevant B2B selling experience.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Good technical understanding of vehicles, especially EVs (battery range, charging, maintenance etc.).
- Familiarity with fleet management needs and buying cycles.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work to targets, manage pipeline, and self-motivate.
