UX/UI Designer- Limerick Due to their continued success our Limerick based client are now recruiting for a UX/UI Designer to join their team. The UX/UI Designer will support the user interface design, promoting a positive user experience, of all our Client's product offerings. The UX/UI Designer will design effective user interfaces, which are intuitive, comprehensive and ensure efficiency for the end-user. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand project goals and user needs. Create user-centered design solutions that align with product vision and enhance the overall user experience. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction. Ensure consistency in design elements and user interfaces across all product features and platforms. Stay informed about industry trends, design patterns, and best practices to bring innovative and cutting-edge design solutions to the product. Collaborate with development teams during the implementation phase to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional user interfaces. Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to the overall design strategy of the product. Work with product managers to prioritize design tasks based on project goals and timelines. Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Proven experience in software application design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects. Minimum 5 years relevant experience Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or similar. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional certifications in UI design are a plus. Solid understanding of user interface (UI) design best practices. **About the role**
UKG is looking for an experienced and passionate User Experience Designer that advocates for User Centered Design while connecting our users with the value they seek. The candidate will be responsible for the overall usability and quality of one or more UKG products or features.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for design and a keen eye for details. They possess extraordinary UX/UI design skills and a proven experience of applying user-centered design principles. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, they can grasp and distill user problems and translate them into delightful and engaging solutions.
As part of this role you work closely with key stakeholders to clearly identify the scope of the design work, the requirements and use cases; pitch concepts, present designs and advocate for the user experience across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Strategic Leadership & UX Vision: Support design leadership to develop our UX strategy and set the vision for product development, aligning with business goals and user needs. Advocate user-centered design principles and promote design thinking across the organization, influencing product direction and prioritization.
+ Information Architecture & Service Design Thinking: Optimize navigation and user journeys by organizing content and establishing logical structures. Approach design holistically across mediums, focusing on atomic-level data and adapting to user interactions.
+ AI Integration & Design Systems: Advocate for Generative AI in design processes to drive innovation, usability, and accessibility. Familiarity utilizing and contributing to dynamic design systems for consistent product quality.
+ End-to-End Design & Execution: Lead the design process from concept to completion, including research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration. Develop detailed wireframes and prototypes, ensuring high-quality implementation.
+ Project Management & Collaboration: Manage commitments and deadlines across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
+ User Research & Data-Driven Design: Conduct and oversee user research to uncover insights and validate design decisions. Utilize data analytics to inform design choices and measure UX impact, developing user personas and journey maps.
+ Process Improvement & Innovation: Define and refine design processes to enhance efficiency and support business goals, focusing on AI-driven methodologies. Incorporate innovative practices into product development by staying up to date with industry trends.
+ Mentorship & Team Development: Work alongside principal and lead designers to contribute to team processes and assist with recruitment and talent development. Mentor junior designers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Expert using and educating others in the use of design and prototyping applications such as Figma, Framer, etc - and eagerly adopting new tools and techniques.
+ Be a system thinker, comfortable with designing beyond your basic screen or user flow.
+ Be comfortable with AI and staying informed or utilizing new technologies.
+ 5-7+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Product Designer for Enterprise applications (not just websites or mobile apps).
+ Bachelor's degree in a field related to User Experience Design.
+ Communicating even complex concepts with clarity - verbally and in writing, in person and virtual.
+ Compelling and engaging storytelling and presentation skills to share your design material with peers and leaders across disciplines.
+ Identifying, recommending and enforcing design patterns, processes and best practices for your team.
+ Skilled at defining design direction across multiple delivery platforms (responsive browser, mobile app, etc.)
+ Advocating for customer value through influencing, understanding and building consensus across disciplines.
+ A design Portfolio clearly demonstrating your work and influence on design practice and process.
