**What you'll do:**
Working with local and global colleagues you will:
+ Assist in developing and maintaining an appropriate legal entity market risk limits framework with applicable limits and triggers.
+ Ensure review of legal entity market risk exposures in the context of limits, mandates and permitted product lists, with escalation of issues and appropriate suggested mitigations to CEP Market Risk Senior Management.
+ Oversee risk exposure measurement and limit monitoring processes to ensure integrity and appropriate independence of reporting.
+ Participate in the oversight of stress testing that properly considers legal entity risks.
+ Assist with the delivery of market risk reports/commentary to Committees, Regulators and Senior Management.
+ Support regulatory Internal Model Approach requirements for the Market Risk team.

**Job Description**
The Vice President, Ireland Manufacturing Operations will be responsible for overseeing stage commercialization, manufacturing, test and release of Gilead products for international markets. The VP will provide leadership to an organization responsible for Manufacturing, Packaging, Analytical Test and Release, Engineering, Supply Chain, Drug product Scaleup and Commercialization of commercial products at the Cork Manufacturing site and clinical manufacturing of drug candidates at the Cork facility. The VP is the primary legal representative as a director and chairman of Gilead Sciences Ireland UC and is responsible for providing cross functional leadership as the Site Lead for the Cork Manufacturing Plant.
As the leader of Ireland Manufacturing Operations, this position is accountable for advancing Gilead's commercial product portfolio for international markets. This role is site based and located at the facility in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. Some international business travel, including to the United States will be required. In addition, the VP will be a member of the PDM Manufacturing Leadership Team.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide leadership and direction to the Ireland Manufacturing Operations organization; Lead the cross- functional Ireland Manufacturing Operations Leadership team in the development of medium and long-term strategic plans and leads the management team in the execution of operational plans.
+ Hire, mentor, and develop team members within the organization. Set performance goals and hold employees accountable for their performance. Lead the performance and talent management processes for the site.
+ Build and maintain a site culture consistent with the Gilead values, and with an added emphasis on quality and safety.
+ Develop and manage department budget and ensure company accounts comply with statutory accounting practices.
+ Accountable for fulfilling legal and fiscal responsibilities as a company director for GSIUC enshrined in company law.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, to join Outsourcing Governance team. This role is located in our Dublin Office /HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Supports management in the day-to-day efforts related to first line of defence regulatory oversight management by performing a diverse set of activities in monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and related policies.
- Act as a point of contact:
- For outsourcing related queries and provide guidance and training in line with outsourcing policy, procedures and regulations to the internal clients and stakeholders; and
- Between the parties to outsourcing arrangements, as required, and maintain a team spirit and collaborative approach
- Support in ensuring all phases of outsourcing lifecycle are performed including maintenance of records and tracking completion of monthly management information.
- Assist in maintaining the firms Outsourcing Register, drafting and distribution of documentation for the completion of assessments, ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews.
- Track more complex regulatory and compliance data and provide as needed to support the development of management reports.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Third level qualification is preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Several years of work experience in Financial Services is required
- Broad knowledge of CBI Outsourcing Regulatory Requirements and guidance preferred.
