AbbVie are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in North Dublin. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and directing the day-to-day activities and performance of a team, including adherence to the System for Management. This includes ensuring quality, dispensing, sampling and shipping targets are met according to schedule and plan, colleagues are properly trained and qualified, issues and deviations are appropriately contained and/or escalated according to established processes. THe Supervisor is required to adhere to and enforce all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal Company policies and procedures in the performance of the job role. This position supervises a team of operators and reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Allocate and coordinate personnel resources across all warehouse activities.
+ Ensure materials are received, stored, sampled, dispensed, processed, and shipped correctly and efficiently.
+ Oversee weekly cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory levels at all times.
+ Ensure all inventory transactions are completed promptly and materials are issued to production in accordance with FIFO principles.
+ Ensure all warehousing transactions are accurately completed in SAP.
+ Coordinate the sampling of all incoming materials and the dispensing of materials to support the production schedule.
+ Supervise the shipment of finished goods and preparation of shipping documentation.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and records for all receipts, transactions, and shipments in compliance with FDA, regulatory, and company requirements.
+ Liaise with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Production to support smooth day-to-day warehouse and materials operations.
+ Conduct walkabouts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials areas remain inspection-ready, secure, and GMP compliant.
+ Enforce GMP, safety, housekeeping, and security standards to maintain a safe working environment and promptly report incidents and accidents.
+ Drive process innovation and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
+ Monitor team performance metrics and ensure alignment with annual operating plan and site strategic objectives.
+ Set expectations and build team capability through coaching, mentoring, performance counseling, development planning, and career guidance.
+ Prepare performance appraisals and compensation recommendations and conduct appraisal meetings in line with company guidelines.
+ Ensure all required training, including company-mandated and job-specific training, is completed and maintained.
Qualifications
+ A third-level qualification in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is desirable, though not essential.
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in an IMB/FDA-regulated environment.
+ Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Experience working with ERP or other automated control systems.
+ A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description
At Vertiv our LV Switchgear & Busbar divisions design and manufacture electrical distribution equipment for business-critical applications throughout Europe. Due to continued growth, Vertiv is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in Burnfoot and play a key role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the seamless movement of goods from point of origin to final destination. As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's logistics operations. From coordinating transportation and distribution to managing inventory of packaging materials and implementing efficient processes, you will play a crucial role in maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Director, this position presents an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional with a proven logistics management background. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ensure a Safe place of work for all employees, Contractors and visitors engaged in any aspects of Logistics activity. Ensure that all personnel, employees, contractors and visitors follow all safety and environmental requirements and instructions while on site and engaged in Logistics activity. Manage and coordinate the activities of the logistics and shipping teams in Burnfoot, Campsie, and Letterkenny, ensuring the appropriate resources are in place to efficiently fulfil inbound and outbound obligations. Ensure the timely availability of all packaging materials, including pallets, foil bags, stretch wrap and other packaging consumables. Ensure the timely and cost-effective provision of lifting equipment, transport and manpower required to safely move and load products and materials to and from transport vehicles. Ensure the smooth transfer of materials and products across the globe through knowledgeable compliance with national and international trade requirements. Ensure all necessary documentation, electronic and/or hard copy is completed, correct. up to date and relevant to ensure efficient transfer across local, national, and international shipping routes. Ensure that the logistics function is kept informed and up to date with current national and international transport regulations, ensuring the integrity of corporate governance and compliance. Ensure that contracts or other agreements with transport companies or other logistics service providers are managed in an ethical and transparent way. Ensure that all transactions relating to scrap materials are managed in an appropriate way with a mind to the obligations of environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. Actively pursue efficiencies and cost saving opportunities in the provision of logistics services to meet Vertiv business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field At least 5 years of Logistics Management experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and technologies, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop and implement effective strategies and solutions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
