**Responsibilities:**
- Manage day to day events and planning in the warehouse.
- Knowledge / understanding of WMS.
- Ensure JDE is up to date.
- Maintain housekeeping at a high standard.
- Ensure all goods in are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP's.
- Ensure all despatch is processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP's.
- Ensure all product is picked and returns processed in a timely manner and in accordance with SOP's.
- Complete and update training for all warehouse staff.
- Effectively communicate information to relevant depts.
- Be available to work and train in all company depots and departments.
- Have clean full driving licence as you will be required to drive co. vehicles.
- Be competent in counterbalance, reach and VNA vehicles.
- Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of all new work practices and processes.
- Carry out various additional tasks in line with Company goals.
- Ensure KPI's are met documented and circulated.
- Be available to work across all shifts and all site
As this is a senior role within the company you may be required to work outside normal hours from time to time.
- Any other additional tasks that may be required by your Manager or any other person so appointed to act with such authority.
**Knowledge / Skills Essential:**
- Third level technical or logistics certificate, diploma, or degree ideally. Suitable experience also satisfactory.
- A minimum of three years supervisory/people management experience in a busy warehouse environment.
- High level of PC skills required.
- Strong understanding of WMS
- Good Capacity Planning skills
- Supervisory Management Diploma or similar
**Desirable:**
- Strong understanding of Scanning and the ability to drive a project to conclusion
- Ability to support the building up of a Warehouse function from scratch

Yard & Warehouse Supervisor - Dublin 10 We are seeking an experienced Yard & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our Cherry Orchard branch. This role covers day-to-day supervision of yard and warehouse activities, coordinating customer deliveries, managing stock, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Role Overview You will be responsible for: Leading the yard and warehouse team, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operations. Scheduling and coordinating customer deliveries, keeping customers informed of changes. Checking accuracy of orders before dispatch to maximise On Time In Full (OTIF) performance. Monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and arranging re-orders. Managing goods inwards, verifying deliveries against orders, and handling supplier returns. Keeping the yard and warehouse clean, safe, and welcoming for customers. Managing site traffic flow and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Operating and maintaining certification for fork-truck use. What We're Looking For Previous supervisory experience in a yard or warehouse environment. Strong organisational and communication skills. A focus on accuracy, safety, and excellent customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly. Fork-truck certification (or willingness to train).
