We are on the lookout for a Manuacturing Team Lead (weekend Shift). Reporting directly to the manufacturing manager based in our Waterfrd Manufacturing site this role will lead a shift of Manufacturing Associates and will be a 2 cucle rotating shift.

Responsibilities
As the Manufacturing Team Lead you will be responsible for;

• Ensure strict compliance with all plant health and safety policies, including detailed incident and accident reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with all manufacturing procedures, regulatory and GMP requirements, quality procedures including record keeping, inspection standards, product disposition and validation protocols
• Monitor performance versus Plan
• Meet on a continuous and reliable basis the requirements to produce the highest quality product in the most efficient, safe and hygienic manner, in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Provide the necessary support to the department to achieve organizational plant goals.
• Attend and participate department meetings as scheduled; ensure adequate preparation and contribution to these meetings.
• Ensure the ongoing operations are effectively managed and ensure KPIs are achieved and maintained.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Promote continuous improvement and manage change effectively through Tier Daily Management.
• Lead investigations for non-conformities and CAPA's for your area and team.
• Take responsibility for training and development of employees on his/her shift.
• Manage your team's time and attendance, including absenteeism/overtime review and occupational health follow-up.
• Provide overall leadership, direction and co-ordination to your direct reports

Qualifications
The successful candidate will

• A minimum of One years' experience in a supervisory role in a GMP Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process.
• High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
• Good problem solving, communication, computers analysis and decision-making skills are required. Advanced Excel a distinct advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to organize, develop, motivate and understand employees.
• Proven track record in people management.
• Demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.

Training Information:

• Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
• Mid-Week Day Shift: Mon - Thur 7.15am - 3.45pm & Fri 7.10am pm
• Mid-Week Eve Shift: Mon - Thur 3.45am am & Fri 12.45pm - 6.20pm

The training for these roles will be mid week and the length of time it will take will depend on both, your experience and the complexity of the step you're being trained on.

You'll be part of a cross functional team of 10-12 highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that support the assembly and shipping of our products to the EMEA market. This role will be based in Waterford and will report to the Assembly Centre Team Lead.

Responsibilities
As the QC Inspector you will be responsible for

• Compliance with quality standards / procedures / policies / SOP's and all other approved documentation.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection on a wider variety of components and/or finished Flow Kit products using a wide variety of tools and equipment such as magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, etc. to ensure conformance with design specifications while working at a level of greater independence with a higher level of productivity; Utilize a microscope in the inspection of equipment, in keeping with associated SOP; may also operate automated inspection equipment to verify dimensional requirements .
• Perform functional testing of more complex finished systems using both automated and manual valve testing equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications
• Conduct operational audits and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and documentation standards
• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and utilize a variety of computer programs to perform and/or document specific job tasks
• Perform line clearance and verification of inspection
• Perform verification of manufacturing documents with Manufacturing Specifications as Outlined in FP01 and device drawings
• Support the training and Qualification of other Quality Inspectors & Production Operators through work demonstration and feedback and use of Gage R&R Studies.
• Use / storage / processing / control of materials within relevant areas in the manufacturing operations dept. as per relevant approved documentation including SOP's / Batch Documents /MO's/Mfg. Drawings etc.
• Support of operational targets including but not limited to Efficiency / Right First Time (Rework) / Final Pass Yield (Scrap)/ Doc Error.
• Involvement and active participation with Continuous improvement projects to improve Quality and Efficiency of the Manufacturing Process.
• Complete and Thorough knowledge of Areas of expertise in Terms of Moulding Process, In Process Inspection, Assembly and Packaging as agreed by Shift Training Versatility Goals.
• Maintaining and control of specialised equipment and tools in relevant areas as per applicable SOP's
• Completion of all Manufacturing and Packaging in process testing as per approved Documentation / SOP's / Batch Documents / Policies
• Other duties may be assigned on discretionary basis as required by new developments or changes to the role.

Qualifications

• GMP and GDP Experience is Preferable, but training will be provided for the Role.

• 1 year quality control experience

• Receipt / checking / movement / control of all materials received into the warehouse as per relevant approved documentation including SOP's / Batch Documents / MO's / Delivery Documentation.
• Correct positioning of material within the relevant locations within manufacturing as per approved SOP's.
• Kitting material based on the required Batch Documentation / MO's etc.
• Cycle counting of KanBan at month and quarter end
• Collection, transfer & packing of PO's as per customer order.
• Achievement of operational targets including but not limited to Schedule Adherence right First Time/ Inventory accuracy as per cycle count rules.
• Responsible for the accuracy of ERP transactions for PO's / Inventory transactions / Receipts.
• Involvement with Manufacturing Cell based Team / Teamwork initiatives / and implementation of Teamwork improvements-based projects e.g., material management projects.
• Involvement with the introduction of upgraded ERP System.
• Involvement and active participation with continuous improvement projects to improve the Warehouse process.
• Complete and thorough knowledge of areas of expertise in terms of the Warehouse and Packaging process.
• Accurate reporting of department measures / metrics / controls which may be assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 Year material handling experience
• Leaving Certificate – or equivalent
• Certification in supply chain or warehouse desirable
• Full Clean Driving licence
• The ability to follow written and / or oral instructions and operate equipment.
• Numerical literacy required to the ensure stock accuracy.
