The Opportunity: Professional Supply Chain and Logistics Partner, with knowledge and experience in the end to end supply chain operations in areas such as buying, planning, scheduling, logistics analysis, warehouse operations and strategic planning.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Partner should have expertise in SAP or equivalent ERP system.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing, co-ordinating and optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring the timely procurement of materials, maintaining efficient production schedules and ensuring efficient warehouse and logistical operations are in place within a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals; contribute to strategic planning and annual budgeting for the Tralee Plant.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Select, evaluate, and manage vendors; negotiate contracts; ensure SLA compliance; foster innovation through strong supplier partnerships; manage risk and develop contingency sourcing strategies.
Logistics & Inventory Oversight: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and transport; ensure trade compliance; manage 3 PL relationships; lead production scheduling and inventory planning aligned with operational needs.
Process Optimization & Project Leadership: Lead large-scale, complex supply chain improvement initiatives; drive efficiency and cost reduction across supply chain functions; ensure alignment with departmental direction and goals.
Technology, Data, & Reporting: Utilize ERP/SAP systems for visibility and decision-making; analyze supply chain data; track KPIs and generate performance reports; identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain SOPs and KPI systems; ensure audit readiness; uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal policies; guide cross-functional collaboration across departments.
Essential Knowledge & Experience: Extensive experience in supply chain and logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software (e.g., SAP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role as part of the GSIUC Planning group within Materials Management department. He/She will support the function in playing a key role in executing the Supply Planning processes for the portfolio worked through GSIUC Operations. Effectively and consistently prioritize and delegate daily assignments and projects to the technicians and associates.
Ensure that all staff understand, properly prioritize, and execute their assignments and adhere to production schedule.
Supervise, and perform as needed, employee training in Warehouse Operations.
Requirements: Degree in science/engineering, operations management or industrial engineering required.
Other continuing education initiatives highly desirable (e.g.
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, industry specific coursework).
At least 3 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with excellent knowledge of material operations.
Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional groups to achieve business objectives.
Strong knowledge of c GMPs (US & EU), OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory agency standards and requirements applicable to material operations in a pharmaceutical production facility.
Demonstrated experience working with device assembly and secondary packaging operations in a c GMP environment.
