Kildare Reporting to: Director of Services Purpose of the Post. The Person in Charge (PIC) will be responsible for the management of Lotus Care Services Respite and Residential Services for Children and Adults. The role includes responsibility for the management of staff and providing the highest standards of respite and residential care to our Service Users. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of Lotus Care Services policies and procedures supporting best care and practice in disability services. Key Working Relationships. Lotus Care Services delivers services using the Social Model of Disabilities. Lotus Care Services has a wide range of stakeholders with whom strong professional relationships need to be forged and fostered on an ongoing basis. These stakeholders include service Owners and their families and colleagues within Lotus Care Services and in HSE/TUSLA and other agencies. Key Duties and Responsibilities. The Person in Charge will: Be responsible for the effective governance, operational management, and administration of the service. Ensure that quality, safe, respite and residential services are delivered to service users. Ensure that all service user breaks are delivered in line with need. Develop, implement, and maintain an actual and planned staff roster ensuring and clearly showing staff on duty during the day and night. Ensure all relevant records and documentation are kept appropriately and up to date in relation to service users and staff in particular ensuring compliance with record keeping in line with legislation and HIQA requirements. Facilitate and deliver appropriate training for staff as required, including refresher training as part of a continuous professional development programme. Provide appropriate supervision and performance management for staff. Provide strong leadership to the team and develop and support a strong culture of quality and safety in service delivery. Support and facilitate service developments and initiatives to ensure that the service can respond to changing needs of both service users and funders. Ensure that the centre is compliant with all standards as laid down by HIQA and be responsible for maintaining HIQA registration. Be responsible for managing resources within the centre including managing associated budgets for staffing, overheads etc. Ensure compliance with all requirements under the Health Act 2007 relating to the duties of PIC. Be responsible for ensuring all relevant registrations and qualification requirements are maintained for their tenure. Be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety of service users and staff and compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Keep up to date with any changes in legislation including but not limited to the Health Sector, Disability Sector, Health & Safety etc. On call duties Candidates must meet the following criteria relevant to the role: Have an Applied Social Care Degree. A Management Qualification. 3 years Team leader or supervisory experience in the disability sector. Have a proficient working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated regulations and Guidance; and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector. Full (clean) drivers licence. Terms & Conditions: Responsible to: Director of Services. Contract: Permanent full-time role, working 39 hours per week. Probation: A probationary period of six months applies to this post. Salary: The salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate in line with experience and qualification. Annual leave: 22 days per annum for a full-time post, and pro-rata for part time posts. This may increase in line with experience. Garda Clearance/Policy Clearance: These will be required for all prospective employees who will undertake relevant work or activities relating to children or vulnerable persons. Sick Pay: All periods of sickness exceeding two days must be medically certified with a maximum of six uncertified days in any 12-month period. Weekly medical certificates are required thereafter. The Company reserves the right to have you examined by its own Doctor after 3 months continuous sick leave. Upon completion of 9 months continuous service with the Company sick pay will be in line with National Legislation. **About the role:**
As a Lead Detection Engineer, you will be part of UKG's Global Security Detection Engineering team. This global team is responsible for detecting and responding to sophisticated cyber threats and attacks. **Qualifications:**
+ The ability to lead complex projects, other team members, and support building strategic and technical initiatives
+ 7+ years of security and hands on technical automation experience, with 5 or more of those years focused on creating use cases and detection focused automation
+ 5-7 years of operational experience working directly with or in security operational teams including: SOC, Threat Intelligence , and Incident Response
+ Deep understanding of SOC, SIEM, and other engineering best practices, limitations, and ways of extending or customizing threat detection automation related use cases
+ Demonstratable hands-on skills in a major scripting/programming language or a search query language for use in security operations and threat detection
+ Experience with a major public cloud service provider (CSP) preferred
+ Splunk Cloud ES and Splunk SOAR (Phantom) Experience highly preferred

**Main purpose of the role:**
Ensure that production targets and schedules are achieved for their process area. Responsible for driving the process of continuous improvement and lean principles.Responsible for their shifts' performance with respect to safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost. Line manager to operator and technicians within their process area.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain high level of visibility with production staff. Use hands-on approach to communicate daily and involve production staff in problem solving.
- Develop a high-performance work team with high levels of worker morale, satisfaction, and performance.
- Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions, managing one's own reactions, and addressing unacceptable behaviour.
- Help production staff succeed through performance management. Provide coaching and performance communication to support development.
- Review general status of production schedules to identify and resolve problems.
- Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
-Provide training and coaching to improve standard work, work center organization (5S), and housekeeping. Actively provide change leadership as required.
- Support and foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging production staff to challenge existing processes and implement solutions that enhance the overall effectiveness of the operation.
- Support production staff in understanding company policies and practices.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Take notice of process related problems and support production staff in taking corrective action to improve the overall performance of the team.
- Communicate with and listen to production staff on a daily basis regarding work team performance, strategic initiatives, policy changes, safety, quality, etc.
- Communicate with other Process Area Leads and appropriate personnel regarding equipment, safety, work schedules, company policies and practices, performance improvement plans, etc.
- Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback. Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
- Promotes and ensures a quality culture within the Process Area.
- Complies with company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
**Qualifications/Experience:**
+ Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification.
+ 3+ years of experience in developing a team.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong multitasking abilities.
+ Excellent communication skills.

You will be an excellent communicator, have a strong technical background and possess the ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team. With strong fundamentals in safety and quality, your primary role is to ensure that production targets and schedules are achieved by effectively coordinating technical resources to maximise equipment availability/performance and yield across multiple process areas.
**Your main responsibilities will be:**
- Manage Technical Personnel. Provide Leadership and Develop Capability through Mentoring/Training & Coaching. Maintain time and production records.
- Ensure that the technical team deliver a service level required to maximise overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Availability/ Performance & Yield.
- Application of structured problem solving to address issues and improve Quality or Output of areas under their responsibility.
- Communicate effectively to Senior Leadership on Root Cause, Corrective and Preventative Actions.
- Lead on maintenance and/or process/equipment issues across multiple process areas.
- Conduct Performance Excellence Assessments and Development plans to foster ongoing improvement.
- Ensuring conformance with all relevant Policies and Procedures. Contributing to the creation of Work Instructions and Operations Procedures to maintain compliance.
- Fault find and repair complex manufacturing equipment to component level.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
- NFQ level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline.
- 4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3+ years developing a team.
- A strong multi tasker.
- An excellent communicator.
