Role Description
Citywise Education is looking for volunteers to join our Fast Track Academy programme.
Education Volunteers will help support Citywise's academic programme by teaching additional classes in
Irish
and/or
English
to our students in 3rd, 5th and 6th year, who are preparing for their Junior and Leaving Certificate exams. Volunteers may also provide one-to-one mentoring student support.
Classes are to take place in our Centre, in Jobstown, Tallaght, in the late afternoon or evening. Their frequency, and precise day and time can be adapted to the volunteers' availability.
The role is integral in supporting, motivating, and inspiring young people, contributing to their educational engagement and personal development, as well as strengthening their professional aspirations.
All volunteers must undergo Garda Vetting and online child protection training, as well as in-house training prior to starting their volunteering position.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young people and engaging in community-focused initiatives

- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff members, other volunteers, and students
