As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:
+ Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
+ Assist and manage sub-contractors in relation to maintenance works.
+ Carry out works/repairs on building fabric as required.
+ Efficient completion of service requests generated by the helpdesk.
+ Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment.
+ Create method statements and risk assessments as required.
+ Maintain and review stock levels, spares requirement through audit and timely ordering of parts.
+ Carry out personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities.
+ Complete service reports and data entry on to CAFM system
+ Delivery of PPM to HTM and SFG standards.
+ To ensure tasks as directed are completed with the appropriate H&S awareness/implementation.
+ Ensure Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g CAFM Si, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
+ Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of CBRE Managed services are locked at all times and are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
+ Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
+ Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
+ Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
+ Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
+ Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
+ Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

What You'll Need:
+ Electrical - National Craft Certificate (Junior & Senior Trades or equivalent to) with minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
+ Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems
+ Previous experience of working with BMS systems
+ Good all-round knowledge of building maintenance, to include mechanical assets
+ Essential experience in mains supply & distribution (LV/ MV). AP qualifications ideal
+ HV experience a distinct advantage
+ Experience in thermographic surveying
+ PA Testing experience
+ Permit to work training
+ Ability to analyse possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician with the possibility to progress to Team Lead. The Technician will join their them of engineers who design and build bespoke manufacturing equipment. The Role: Installation of electrical components and wiring in accordance with schematic diagrams. Installation of pneumatic components, pipework, and equipment in accordance with pneumatics diagrams. Preparation and assembly of cable and pipe ways, bracketing and support systems. Connection of electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components. Carrying out pre-commissioning checks and testing. Preventative maintenance of systems by routine inspection. Coca-Cola Ballina are currently seeking candidates for an Electrical Instrumentation Technician for our manufacturing plant based in Ballina, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced agile environment.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a multi-skilled Maintenance team involved in directly supporting a wide range of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on operations equipment in the manufacturing areas. You will work closely with our Operations Shift Managers as this role is the first point of contact in the event of equipment downtime in the Operations areas. This is a shift position therefore flexibility is required.
**What you will do for us**
+ Maintain a safe working environment whilst complying with quality standards in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
+ Complete calibrations on all instruments per calibration plan.
+ Perform routine maintenance of equipment and assists in trouble shooting and repair of any mechanical and electrical problems when they arise.
+ Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on operations equipment.
+ Drive equipment improvement and minimize downtime on equipment.
+ Clear understanding of equipment performance measures.
+ Verify / monitor Preventive Maintenance effectiveness.
+ Capable of using a computerized maintenance management system to record all activity.
+ Operate within a department budget and liaise with vendors to source parts and obtain technical information.
+ Work closely with key stakeholders; Operations, Engineering and Quality to ensure equipment performance.
+ Works closely with the Maintenance Planners to schedule tasks.
+ Seek opportunities to digitize and modernize our processes with our I4.0 & Continuous Improvement team as part of daily operations.
+ Support the Operational Excellence Program and continuous improvement culture.
+ Ensure compliance to all documented procedures and accurate completion of all necessary documentation.
**Qualifications & Skills Requirements**
+ Completion of a Trade Apprenticeship qualification in Electrical instrumentation is essential.
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Maintenance profession with demonstrated electro, mechanical or instrumentation skills preferably in a food/healthcare environment.
+ Knowledge of automation and robotics preferable.
+ Computer literacy together with an aptitude to develop further computer skills.
+ Comfortable working independently in an agile, fast paced environment that requires patience, flexibility, and initiative.
+ Organized, methodical, tidy and the ability to work in a controlled and structured way.
+ Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, documentation skills, problem identification and problem-solving skills
