The Role Due to increasing demand from our all-island client portfolio, we are seeking a motivated and highly capable Mid-weight Designer to join our creative team within the Creative Services division of the business. You will play a key role in the delivery of exciting creative projects to an enviable portfolio of clients across a wide range of sectors in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and further afield. Collaborating with the creative team and alongside our industry-leading team of communications experts, you will work on the execution of high-end design projects, from concept to completion, across web digital, print and video. In particular, you will support the development of in-house design materials, with a strong focus on impactful presentations, print and digital assets while gaining exposure to broader campaign work for global brands. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 3+ years experience (including degree placement) who is eager to develop their skills and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Hybrid working will be offered, with the successful candidate having the opportunity to work between Consellos state-of-the-art offices in Belfast city centre and home. The Candidate Were looking for a Mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+years of design experience who is confident working independently but eager to learn, grow and take on new challenges. Youll get to work on a diverse range of projects across digital, print and presentation with a strong focus on high-quality presentations, marketing materials and internal communications. You'll also support wider campaign work for leading clients across Ireland, the UK and internationally. Working alongside experienced creatives and communications experts, youll contribute to concept development and final execution helping elevate our brand and those of our clients through effective, visually engaging design. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualities: Positive, driven and highly motivated Ability to translate client briefs into impactful creative work Commitment to creating effective design solutions from initial concepts through to superb client-ready artwork within a fast-paced environment Agile and adaptable, having a desire for career progression with a knowledge of current design trends and their role within a commercial environment Ability to work collaboratively with the creative team and the firms team of communications experts Strong attention to detail and an ability to present design solutions Ability to adhere to brand guidelines with a focus on what is right for the client and the brief Commitment to a productive and efficient workflow with excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills, with a willingness to take feedback and communicate in a positive way, adding further to a strong, team-centric culture. Essential Skills & Experience 3+ years of design experience (agency or in-house) A degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or Visual Communication A strong portfolio showing commercial work across print and digital Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Familiarity with presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides Strong layout and typography skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Desirable Skills & Experience Experience in motion design (After Effects, Premiere Pro) Animation or illustration skills Videography/Photography Skills Basic HTML/CSS understanding Salary Commensurate with experience Monday 18 August at 12noon.

The Role: We are currently looking to recruit a Graphic Design Graduate (Fixed Term 12 months)to join our Digital Marketing and Communications team in National Office, Dublin 1. The post holder will have responsibility for supporting the Lead Graphic Designer, Head of Digital Marketing and Communications, and wider Marketing team in shaping the visual identity of our brand(s), and services. Knowledge Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values Knowledge of needs and issues of those living in poverty and disadvantaged. Knowledge of design principles. Knowledge of typography, colour theory, layout, and composition. Skills Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Ability to adapt to changing design requirements. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality visual content. Exceptional presentation skills to diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with volunteers, colleagues, and stakeholders. The scope of the work includes the RTL design and implementation of complex clock and data recovery algorithms, adaptive digitally assisted control loops and the development of advanced DSP designs to achieve power efficient channel equalization solutions. The successful candidate will work with an experienced mixed signal design team delivering world-class SerDes solutions. Day to day responsibilities: RTL implementation of algorithms for clock and data recovery, adaptive digital control and DSP. Communication with the architecture team to understand proposed algorithms and provide feedback regarding design implementation. Digital design verification to ensure basic design functionality prior to hand-off of the design to verification team Design verification using standard industry tools for HDL checking e.g. CDC, RDC, Lint Support of the verification team in the debug of identified issues Assist with silicon bring up and debug. Creation of clear design specifications and implementation documentation. Preferred Experience: Extensive experience in RTL design methodologies, specification development and design implementation. Familiarity with RTL design using a HDL such as Verilog or VHDL, Verilog being a preference. Experience in modern digital ASIC methodologies including verification, STA and signal integrity, DFT, synthesis, physical implementation. Strong technical expertise in verification methodologies such as UVM, SystemVerilog, and formal verification techniques. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) for testbench automation and data analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building, coaching, and performance management. Experience with industry-standard EDA tools and design flows (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) is highly desirable.
