As a Health & Safety Intern, you will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety procedures in line with the **Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005** and other relevant Irish regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety management across a dynamic business environment.

+ Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
+ Knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation is an advantage.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Communicate with theatre consultants about the treatment and management of both adult and pediatric patients. As part of the nursing team, provide patients with high-quality, evidence-based care while adhering to the NMBI Scope of Practice. The Paediatric Early Warning System Escalation of a worsening patient to the Anaesthetist, Surgeon, and Nursing Management should be understood and applied. As incidents happen, report them using the appropriate method. Use your flexibility to be assigned to a different area of duty or rostered during the workweek. Gather, examine, and preserve the records that have been agreed upon; make sure that all records are accurately and correctly kept and distributed to the right personnel. RequirementsMust be listed in the General Division of An Bord Altranais's registry of nurses. Have worked as a full-time or equivalent part-time nurse in an acute hospital setting for at least a year after becoming a registered nurse. A recognized post-registration nursing program, such as a Higher Diploma or Post Graduate program in Adult and Paediatric Nursing, is preferred or being pursued. Maintain a current Basic Cardiac Life Support course or work toward one. Have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a track record of clinical success, risk management, clinical auditing, and outstanding communication abilities. Proficiency in information technology is crucial. Send in a copy of your most recent NMBI Professional Registration (PIN) in January of each year.
