**Job Overview:**
**This is a 6 month, full time internship.**
As a Health & Safety Intern, you will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety procedures in line with the **Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005** and other relevant Irish regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety management across a dynamic business environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in carrying out workplace risk assessments and safety inspections.
+ Support the review and updating of safety statements, policies, and procedures.
+ Help to monitor and track safety performance indicators.
+ Participate in incident/accident investigations and maintain related records.
+ Assist in delivering health and safety training sessions.
+ Update and maintain safety documentation and databases.
+ Support the coordination of emergency drills and safety campaigns.
+ Contribute to initiatives promoting wellbeing and a positive safety culture.

**Requirements:**
**Education & Qualifications:**
+ Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
+ Knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation is an advantage.
**Skills & Competencies:**
+ Strong organisational and time management skills.
+ Attention to detail with good problem-solving ability.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
