A post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is a requirement. If lacking this qualification, the individual must undergo the necessary training. A post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is preferred A minimum of three years of previous work experience in a management role is required. A minimum of three years of experience in nursing older individuals within the past six years is necessary.
