Responsibilities and Duties
The Healthcare Assistant supports the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents.Ensures residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident’s dignity at all timeAssists residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needsAssists residents with mobilizing as appropriate and using correct aidsThe Care Assistant escorts and transfers residents as directed by the Nursing staffAssists in End of Life CareParticipates in activities with residentsAny other duties deemed necessary by nurse and managementRequirementsQualifications and Skills
6 months in Healthcare or relative experience in a similar environmentPractical experience in a caring capacity desiredAbility to work independently or as part of a teamProfessional, caring, and empathetic natureBe comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environmentHave a good level of English language skillsAvailability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday.BenefitsWhat we offer:
