Stelfox is exclusively partnering with a SaaS Technology provider who is entering Dublin for the first time to establish a new presence in Ireland and hire out a new Software engineering team.
This new team will be focused on re-factoring / architecting existing server-side platform to a modern Microservices driven SaaS platform using Nodejs, Typescript, React, AWS Lambda / services, IaC and best practices.
As one of the first hires, we are looking to recruit a hands-on Engineering Lead (effectively become the de-factor Software Manager) to design and architecture various web & mobile services plus lead an initial team of 4-5 engineers.
Preferably you will have:
- 7-10+ years commercial experience across software engineering, from design/architecture through to deployment of services.
- Strong coding standards and approach to best practice
- Ability & interest to lead / manage a small engineering team and be the focal point for the team during code reviews, 1-2-1's as the role become the defacto Manager/leader for the team.
Preferred experience :
- Backend development - Node.js and Express for building scalable server-side applications.
- Architecture knowledge - understanding of micro-frontend architecture
- GraphQL & gRPC - exposure to integrating with GraphQL & gRPC

Design, develop, document, and maintain a large variety of content, mainly but not limited to demo automation.
