The Opportunity
Join our multi-disciplinary engineering team in Dublin and lead the design of cutting-edge electrical systems for a diverse range of building projects. As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:
· Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for projects across various sectors, from initial concept through detailed design, installation, and commissioning.
· Develop innovative and sustainable electrical solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices.
· Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
· Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
· Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project completion.

We're looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient individual with a passion for sustainable building design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
· Minimum 8 years of post-qualification design experience within a consultancy environment.
· Demonstrated experience in the design of Building Services Electrical system.
· Proficiency in Revit.
We also value:
· Chartered Engineer status (or nearing chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions.
· In-depth knowledge of relevant Irish standards and regulations.
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineering professional to lead and manage complex projects within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver high-impact results.

At AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to join us at our Dublin office.
**_Here's what you'll do:_**
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities;
+ Lead the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycle
+ Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker
+ Work with the technical teams in coordinating and managing the design consultants and other external service providers
+ Organise the appropriate design review meetings and be responsible for communicating design acceptance to the Contractor
+ Be responsible for communicating design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders who may be impacted
+ Report monthly on the tasks throughout the project's lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken
+ Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings
+ Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
+ Monitor and apply performance management techniques
+ Manage the change control process
+ Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
+ Tangible experience of documenting best practice construction project management policies and standards.
**_NEC Specific Activities_**
+ Review and accept programme submissions
+ Lead and act in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation
+ Communicate and issue documents as required by the ECC and perform any other duties as stated in the contract
+ Carry out the duties as the Project Manager as required by the Contracting Entity's contract for the Programme, maintaining close contact with the Client in order to ensure the Project Manager's actions reflect the Contracting Entity's objectives for the project
+ Manage the compensation event process so that the Contractor is fairly compensated for any Contracting Entity- initiated change on the project
+ Ensure the Contractor notifies compensation events in good time so that the Contracting Entity is not disadvantaged
