Job Description
Responsibilities The employee will be employed as a Quality Technician with a focus on Metrology duties within the Quality Department and will report directly to the Department Manager or his/her delegate. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following: Liaise and communicate with personnel and departments within LCC and any external companies. Investigate quality / production issues. Strive to drive continuous improvement in LCC. Support and develop quality management systems. Maintain and preserve Metrology equipment in line with relevant internal and external standards. Provide leadership in problem solving and technical expertise. Responsible for developing and implementing measurement systems. Work closely with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve measurement issues. Play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of LCC products. Developing and maintaining documentation and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in metrology. Use the appropriate tools (e.g., SCAR's, 8D) to facilitate root cause analysis and verify timely corrective actions for Quality issues. Promote the use of continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, 5S, Visual Workplace. Undertake special projects as required & contribute to continuous improvement activities. Perform regular audits of measurement systems. Analyse measurement data and generate reports. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Coordinate with external calibration service providers. Ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. Any other duties as directed by management. Qualifications Requirements and Experience A third level qualification in Engineering related field or proven work experience in a similar role. Proficiency with metrology software and tools. Experience working in an office and steel fabrication assembly environment. More than 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with quality control and assurance processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communicator. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Have a careful, conscientious, and methodical approach. Willingness to self-learn and improve. Familiarity with CAD software is a plus. Ability to lift and handle metrology equipment. Reporting to site Quality Manager candidates will be responsible for supporting operation of Quality & HSE systems and implementing improvements within manufacturing processes on site at Mondelez Rathmore.
**Role Responsibilities:**
Provide support to site Quality & HSE Manager in implementation and delivery of site Quality, Environmental and Health and safety agenda to agreed timeframes.
Support site implementation of Quality Policies and manage policies as requested.
Support Quality & HSE manager in completion of day to days tasks - KPI reporting, BOS /QOS tracking, reporting issues at morning meeting, tracking HSE / quality issues, review & sign off records.
Support HSE standards implementation to agreed timeframes.
Improving Good Manufacturing practises on site - tracking housekeeping, site zoning, cleaning tool registers and reporting issues to management.
Carry out audits as requested per internal audit schedule to ensure continued compliance to regulatory, customer and Mondelez Quality & HSE Policy requirements.
Manage site sanitation program and work with external service provider to ensure compliance to requirements.
Support site management team during Corporate and National Enforcement Agencies during site audits and visits (NSAI, EPA, Department of Agriculture, Kosher, FSSC, Corporate)
Deliver site training programs for quality, food safety and food fraud as per site programme requirements.
Ensure that all testing, monitoring, and measurement is properly performed to provide reliable and accurate data/test results? Oversee the interpretation of results and management/use of data for continuous improvement?
Inform management of issues based on testing results.
Undertake project work as requested to agreed timeframes.
Support Continuous Improvement Programmes on site & assist teams in completing problem solving of issues as requested to agreed timescales.
Support investigations of non-conforming product, out of specification product and customer complaints.
Regular interaction with laboratory technicians and provide support as required.
Member of site HACCP and Food Defence team.
Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
Food Science Degree Qualification essential.
Demonstrable experience in the Food industry or a similar operating environment which includes experience in a Quality function.
Well-developed IT / PC skills - Microsoft Office & SAP.
**Skills**
Self-motivated, determined, and able to work under own initiative.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and implement improvement initiatives with a moderate level of guidance.
Flexibility, adaptive learner, analytical person, good communication & good organisational skills.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Functional Test Engineer to join our team. This person will provide quality assurance testing for corporate banking applications to ensure any business-requested changes are validated prior to handing off to UAT. You will learn the business as well as understand the testing framework and processes for the applications. You will be required to draw on testing knowledge in order to creatively develop solutions for automating test processes as well as design maintenance procedures and documentation. Within this team, there is an open and collaborative approach to work on solutions for applications and workflow processes. Additionally, you will be required to automate any repetitive steps in a workflow process or application in order to provide the highest quality for our technology and business and will be required to meet those standards and provide the best test capabilities.
**Experience**
+ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with 7 to 9 years of experience.
+ Experience working in corporate banking domain/applications is a must.
+ Conversant in ITIL
+ Should be able to prepare automation strategy and plan and develop data reconciliation automations
+ Experience in designing Frameworks is a must
+ Good knowledge in any automation testing tools
+ Should have worked on defect management tools like QC or Jira
+ Extensive hands-on experience in Database, Data Warehouse (ETL), Data conversion, data migration, functional/regression, back/front end and API testing.
