We're looking for a dedicated and driven Sales Assistant, to join our **_Nespresso_** **boutique in Cork.** If you can demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail and competitive environment in which the _Nespresso_ business operates, you could contribute to the growing success of the brand.

You'll support customers in finding their perfect cup of coffee and be on hand to deliver service oriented sales, promoting our unique brand experience.
We're looking for confident and charismatic individuals who can deliver exceptional customer service utilising strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being able to demonstrate:
+ Ability to rapidly build strong, working relationships with your customer base and be happy to support where needed.
+ Experience within the retail sector, ideally from a luxury background but we are happy to consider those from a different industry who have the required skill-set.

+ Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory levels.
+ Communicate to the Store Manager what is driving sales and discuss any issues/priorities, to develop strategies to maximize business. Ensure they are weekly visual presentation action plans.
+ Analyze store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
+ Assist with the manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes, Recruit store personnel with a broad range of perspectives, experiences and backgrounds.
+ Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
+ Participate in weekly management meetings alongside other staff meetings.
+ Clearly communicate to staff: store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations; sales results and provide guidance on what is needed to improve performance.

Our extensive Retail Operation of 130 nationwide stores provide support and critical funds to meet the essential services of the nearly 300,000 sight loss client users across the island of Ireland.
As Store Manager you will be responsible for a strong team tasked with driving both turnover and revenues in our Carrigaline store.
You will be tasked with supervising financial KPIs, including sales, wages, and shrinkage, together with customer service/feedback, internal audits, standards, and compliance.

Principal Duties: Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets.

Manage the shop accounting procedures including banking, till receipts, transactions and cash handling procedures are adhered to at all times.
Full responsibility for inventory and security of all equipment and fittings on the shop floor and extended premises.
Take an active lead and support for all on-going store and community-based fundraising events.
Promotion of the Vision Ireland brand through a variety of local channels in a cost-effective manner whilst ensuring communications are in keeping with brand standards.
Responsibility for all health and safety in accordance with statutory obligations to include training, adherence to fire procedures and maintenance of all safety and first aid equipment.
