Main Purpose of Role We have a requirement for a Water & Wastewater Process Engineer to complete and manage the Process design of water and wastewater engineering solutions and proposals for our Clients in Northern Ireland, ROI, and the UK. Role Duties Working as part of a multiple disciplinary Process Engineering team in all areas of water and wastewater treatment, pumping, treatment process options and performance evaluation, predominantly for N. Irl water and UK Water Authorities. Prepare preliminary and detailed design documents, engineering specifications and perform calculations in support of water & wastewater process engineering activities in adherence with Client Asset Standards and specifications. Completing optioneering reports, pre and post project completion documentation in accordance with company standard. Evaluate and assess hydraulic designs in conjunction with knowledge and experience of Water & Wastewater Treatment Processes. Co-ordination within a team of Project Engineers of varying experience levels to ensure tender delivery and project process treatment design. Maintain daily communications with other engineering departments including civil, electrical, mechanical engineering drawing, controls and automation to ensure the development and provision of turnkey water/wastewater treatment solutions. Review supplier information to assure compliance with Project requirements and Client Asset Standards To ensure compliance with all company Safety, Environmental and Quality systems including leading the statutory Principal Designer role where required. Support business development activities by demonstrating quality assurance and competence of the water/wastewater process design team Develop and maintain communications with key decision makers within the Company client base for the process of identifying engineering opportunities for company development General Participate in, and positively promote, the Murphy Never Harm Programme Undertake any reasonable duties expected of you. Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management.
