Unijobs are currently looking to recruit a Senior Administrator for the UL Global Department at the University of Limerick.
The role is until the end of June 2026 with the possibility of extension thereafter.
The rate of pay is starting at €22.69 per hour and is full time, working 35 hours per week.
Job Purpose UL has the largest mobility programme in Ireland with over 450 partner universities in Erasmus and Exchange.
The mobility programme comprises of mobility for students, staff, traineeship, partnerships, networks and alliances on a long term and short term basis.
The Mobility Senior Administrator is responsible for the provision of high quality administrative support in all aspects of the programme especially in support of students.
That work will consist of engagement with students, academic staff and partner universities in relation to mobility globally.
The post will also have oversight of short term mobility and in relation to conferences, visitors, research/traineeship and networks and alliances such as EMERGE.
Work will necessitate engagement with mobility systems such as Move On and other digital systems.
Key Responsibilities of the role: Implementation of all processes and procedures relating to student mobility.
This requires in depth knowledge of rules and regulations of the mobility programme in order to minimise risk, and ensure adherence to programme regulations.
Management of mobility types and records to ensure compliance with external audits and respective policies.
Administration of mobility (mailbox management, processing applications and respective documents) Ensuring accurate and clean data being cognisant of set deadlines to ensure accurate ongoing, interim and final reports for external review and audit.
The post holder implements the process around all components of mobility to include engagement with stakeholders.
The post holder is responsible for liaising with external stakeholders (partners, alliances, networks) globally.
The post holder is responsible for data on the various external mobility sites (Beneficiary Module, Erasmus+ Dashboard, EU Academy) and on internal digital platforms (Move On, Sharepoint, Brightspace etc).
The post holder will help identify issues and suggest solutions to improve process management Responds to queries and concerns from stakeholders and modifies communication plans accordingly.
Offers support to stakeholders experiencing difficulty with aspects of their mobility.
Plans, Develops and Leads on regular communication campaigns, marketing and events to stakeholders in relation to the promotion of the UL mobility programmes.
Manages an information loop on informational material with partner institutions, disseminating material to stakeholders on all digital platforms.
Assists with promotion activities, meetings and information sessions to key stakeholders.
Leads on the preparation of itineraries for visitors from external stakeholders Assists with promotion activities, meetings and information sessions to key stakeholders.
Leads on the preparation of itineraries for visitors from external stakeholders Core understanding and assistance with development of digital platforms such as Move On, Brightspace, Sharepoint etc.
Systematically reports on trends, partnership engagement and highlights opportunities as appropriate.
Active in feeding in to policy and procedures to digitise processes and in preparing for change management in the use of new digital platforms.

Essential Criteria: An understanding of administration in a higher education or similar environment High level of proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook, and website updating Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team Comprehensive knowledge of filing systems and record keeping Minimum of two year's administration experience in a higher education or similar environment Proven track record in database administration and reporting Demonstrated experience of working in a busy and challenging office environment Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer.
