We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to help design, develop and test applications for the Telecommunication industry. In this role, you will join an established software development team, who have many years’ experience of Design and Development of Telecommunication products. As part of the team, you will be encouraged to independently resolve technical problems, initiating design changes and provide engineering customer support. You will have the opportunity to participate in architecture decisions. You will be responsible for software feature development, integration, testing, and maintenance to support the design and deployment of CommScope products, both in custom designed embedded-hardware and in off-the-shelf server platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of software applications.
  • Programming Multi-core processors and specialized Acceleration units at application and kernel level.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of software designs.
  • Write functional, design and test specifications.
  • Prototyping software for new products
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system engineering teams and partners

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Embedded Firmware development experience
  • Experience in Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK)
  • In-depth knowledge of communication systems software in a real-time embedded development environment.
  • Strong programming experiences in C/C++
  • In-depth knowledge of OSI model and various Layer 2/Layer 3 Networking Protocols
  • Experience with design and development on multi-threaded and multi-processor systems
  • Solid understanding of one or more RTOS (preferably vxWorks or Linux) and use of IDE development and debug tools.
  • Preferred experience with industry standard protocols and software technologies in the telecommunications or related fields
  • Good written and verbal communication

Purpose of Role:
The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) will provide engineering and process support to ensure successful implementation of 2D barcoding in line with EU MDR requirements.
This role will focus on supporting technical strategy execution, process validation, and operational readiness across both internal manufacturing and supplier sites.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support technical execution of 2D barcode implementation, including validation activities (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ).
+ Partner with Quality Engineers (QEs) and Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) to assess and confirm laser marking equipment compatibility and process qualification at both supplier and internal sites.
+ Assist in First Article Inspection (FAI) preparation, reviewing supplier provided verification data and ensuring compliance to marking requirements.
+ Update and maintain manufacturing documentation (DCP, PFMEA, SOPs) to reflect new barcoding processes.
+ Collaborate with operations teams to ensure inspection readiness (visual inspection, barcode verifier checks).
+ Troubleshoot and provide technical support during initial marking trials and confidence runs.
+ Support scrap management, label obsolescence, and carton switchovers as required for Go-Live phases.
+ Actively contribute to risk assessments, ensuring process robustness and alignment with MDR and GMP requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ 2-4 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred).
+ Exposure to process validation and FAI/PPAP activities in a regulated environment.
+ Familiarity with laser marking or UDI/2D barcoding processes desirable.
+ Strong problem solving and root cause analysis capability (Six Sigma / Lean tools beneficial).
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams (QE, SQE, and Operations).

Iron Mountain are looking for a senior customer expert to join our team based on the Kilbarry Business Park site.
Whilst the exact responsibilities will vary, the main duties of the role are as follows:
+ Building strong strategic relationships with existing and new customers.
+ Consult with customers to understand their business challenges and objectives.
+ Solving complex customer service issues and proactively preventing negative service trends.
+ Work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure the highest standards of customer service.
+ Managing workflow, escalations and effectively delegating workload across the team.
+ Conducting continuous customer analysis.
+ Conducting accurate demand forecasting, planning, and delivery collaboratively with other supportingteams.
+ Leading business impact assessments, identifying risks and issues that may affect current andfuture business units and roles.
+ Developing and achieving performance goals and objectives in order to achieve customer expectations
+ Participating in business leadership meetings; developing and driving strategies and programs which
+ improve the competitive position and profitability of the organisation
+ Guide sales teams on thebest approach to address our customers' needs
* Suggest improvements andexpansions to our customers' marketing programs.
+ Work with all services teams to ensure engagement, retention & adoption metrics are met.
+ Monitor the progress tocompletion of new inboards and expand deals ensuring completion metricsare met.
+ Be the point of contact for escalation of customer account issues
* Provide general customer insightand feedback to other departments
+ Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to drive improvements in serviceperformance metrics and quality, whilst setting actionable strategy for the delivery of outstanding customer care.
+ Implement internal as well as customer-facing processes to improve internal efficiencies
**About you:**
+ Degree level qualification required
+ 5/10 years of relevant experience, ideally a background in Operations, as well as customersuccess or account management experience.
+ Strong influencing, networking and team working skills
+ High level awareness of developments in the Information Technology marketplace.
+ Ability to manage, influence, persuade, negotiate and build consensus to drive CustomerService initiatives.
+ Proficiency in planning, change management and problem-solving, and able to resolve issues of ahighly complex and strategic nature.
+ Ability to work well in and across global teams
+ Excellent communications and presentation skills
+ Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Processes
