Banking Customer Advisor | Dingle Staffline is proud to partner with a well-known Financial Services and Banking Institution that combines a strong local presence with a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Banking Customer Advisor to join the team in Dingle. This is a one-year temporary contract with weekly pay, offered through Staffline, with potential for extension or a permanent role depending on business needs. A five-week training programme will take place in once you have shadowed the team in branch, with working hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm. About the Role As a Banking Customer Advisor, you'll be a friendly and visible presence on the branch floor, assisting customers with their day-to-day banking needs and delivering a personal, high-quality service. You'll help customers access our digital banking options, manage queries, and ensure every interaction reflects the bank's commitment to professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities Greeting and engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate support Assisting customers with self-service options, including mobile and online banking and in-branch kiosks Managing customer queries and minor complaints, escalating to senior staff where required Using iPads to update customer information and identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience Supporting the Teller team in processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements as required, maintaining accuracy and balancing at the end of the day. Identifying and referring potential sales opportunities to the relevant team members Skills and Experience Required Previous experience in a customer-facing service role within banking, retail, or hospitality Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Confident using digital tools and adaptable to new technologies Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Completed Leaving Certificate Ability to attend in-person training This role is a controlled function as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. This experienced and multinational financial services team operates across 3 key service lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the financial services industry and understand the challenges and trends, which affect this sector. Be an ambitious motivated person who that demonstrates a desire to help to progress and assist the team. Main responsibilities Working with clients to optimise finance and operational functions, this may include projects relating to the financial reporting process, review and remediation of business processes and short term interim staffing assignments working within a team environment to ensure deadlines are met. Accounting for trading and/or investment entities including private equity / debt structures Month end / quarter end reporting Regulatory reporting support Working with clients to prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and Lux and US GAAP; Building strong relationships with client representatives; Liaising with auditors; Promoting FAAS both internally and externally. Skills and attributes Experience and knowledge in financial services industry either directly or through practice. ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification. Minimum 1 years' PQE; or 3 years while part qualified Proficient accountant, with strong knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP Strong understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements related to funds, banking or insurance industry. FAAS - Financial Services Industry Assistant Manager / Manager We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Specialist at Assistant Manager and Manager levels to join our clients growing team. This role involves overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of derivative instruments across multiple fund structures, ensuring accurate trade capture, valuation, reconciliation, and control compliance. You will work closely with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to deliver high-quality operational support, while driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives. You will also be responsible for leading a team, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring adherence to robust risk and control frameworks. Main responsibilities Manage the end-to-end processing of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, margining, settlement, and lifecycle event management across multiple funds. Assist with daily processing, valuation and reconciliation of complex derivative instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across derivatives processing workflows Collaborate with fund accounting teams, custodians, and counterparties to resolve breaks and discrepancies in a timely manner. Participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and efficiency drives within the derivatives operations function. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues, breaks, and client queries. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Lead and manage a derivatives operations team, ensuring operational excellence, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs. Review and quality-check the work of junior team members, providing feedback and guidance. Assist in training new hires and supporting knowledge-sharing within the team. Skills and attributes Strong technical knowledge of OTC derivatives and exchange-traded products (e.g., interest rate swaps, credit/default swaps, equity options, futures, FX derivatives) and trade lifecycle management, margining, collateral, and derivative valuations. Solid understanding of fund accounting principles and derivative accounting treatment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or professional qualification such as CFA, FRM is an advantage). 3+ years experience in derivatives operations within asset management, investment banking, or fund administration Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach. Ability to adapt quickly to various working environments our clients operate within; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities in a deadline-driven environment. Mature and confident person with excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills with the ability to mentor junior staff and impart technical knowledge. A self-starter with an ability to work on their own initiative, but knowing when to seek assistance and work collaboratively. Energy, enthusiasm and passion for a new challenge.
