**Qualifications and Experience**
+ Professional degree level qualification (or equivalent) required.
+ Lean and/or six sigma qualification preferred.
+ Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, complex, regulated environment (MedTech or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred).
+ Strong decision-making, planning, and communication skills.
+ Experience developing strong working relationships across shifts and support departments.
+ IT, data analysis, and presentation skills desirable.

Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory. Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers. Assist the warehouse team in the picking, loading and unloading of stock throughout the warehouse. Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Ensure all administration functions required by the operation are completed correctly and on time. e.g. statutory records, timekeeping, time in lieu hours, accident reports and disciplinary management administration. Organising workload for warehouse operatives and managing daily schedules for drivers. Responsible for returned stock, evaluating the condition the item has been returned it and determining whether the item will be sold as new, or move to clearance. Resolving outstanding Logistics issues in a timely manner. Maintenance of necessary records in accordance with RSA rules and regulations. Manage & develop direct reports to achieve business goals & objectives. Additional Ad-hoc Warehouse Manager duties as needed. Ideal Candidate Previous furniture experience desirable Should be highly motivated and capable of working on their own initiative. You will need 2+ years experience in leading a team in a warehouse environment. Previous experience in transforming a warehouse department an advantage. Proven IT skills- Microsoft word/excel/outlook essential with strong ability to manage stock control systems. Strong organisational and self -management skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks within a busy environment and to specific time frames. Excellent communication skills.
