Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2)/ Information Technology Co-Ordinator Temporary 1 Year Contract, Full time Hours. The CNM2/Information Technology Co-ordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Divisional Lead, and is accountable to the Director of Nursing (DON), Mercy University Hospital (MUH). Responsibilities Include: Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership in all aspects of nursing care. Working with the ADON to support implementation of the TrendCare IT System (a patient acuity, workload management and workforce planning IT system). Practice in accordance with relevant legislation and with regard to The Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, 2025). Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards an evidence-based care planning approach. Ensure confidentiality in relation to patient/client records is maintained. Ensure relevant policies and procedures are readily available and all staff are informed of changes. Effectively manage time and workload to meet changing and developing needs. Support the implementation of QIPs (Quality Improvement Projects) and manage identified changes. Identify user issues and errors and liaise with IT systems support staff and TrendCare team to reach resolution. Support managers in understanding the data generated by their department. Monitor the data to identify changing trends and/or anomalies. Regularly monitor ward/department maintenance settings with ward/department managers to ensure optimisation of the user interface. Support Nurse Managers and staff in using the Safe Staffing and Skill Mix IT to develop efficient and effective nursing resource plans. Coordinate user training to all relevant staff during orientation. Plan and deliver focussed training sessions to address areas for improvement and to motivate and empower staff in the utilisation and understanding of the TrendCare System and MEG System (a Quality Management IT System). Maintain high user engagement for the Safe Staffing and Skill Mix IT System through consultation with users. Engage in effective and professional communication with all users, stakeholders and the IT systems staff. Provide up to date reports to the DON/ADON on implementation, results, QIPs, etc. Be an active member of the local implementation group or any local group as defined by DON. Eligibility Criteria: Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI/Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais ns hEireann). Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 recent years must be in the acute area. Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. Provide evidence of clinical and professional managerial ability, leadership, communication and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good basic knowledge of IT systems and databases use for workflow, staffing and data analysis. Evidence of leading clinical practice initiatives. Evidence of promotion of multi-disciplinary teamwork. **Staff Additive Technology Engineer**
Term: 23 months initially
Location: Stryker Anngrove, Cork
Hybrid Working.
**Role Summary:**
This role will collaborate closely with process owners in technology development and key partners on the digital team to define and execute strategies for the seamless integration of new hardware, process improvements, and product workflows into our digital ecosystem.
The successful candidate will support the research, development, testing, and qualification of digital tools in partnership with internal stakeholders and external software developers. They will independently develop solutions to a range of moderately complex technical challenges, applying sound engineering judgment and innovative thinking.
Leveraging the latest engineering techniques, the candidate will contribute to reducing product time to market while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, project timelines, and cost targets.
The role also involves building strong working relationships across internal and external teams and may include providing guidance or training to other team members as needed.
**What you will do:**
+ Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.
+ Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
+ Will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements. Work with quality engineers to develop component specific testing and inspection protocols.
+ May lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, Installation and validation.
+ Will analyse equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.
+ Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.
+ Provide training for manufacturing team members.
+ Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
+ Review and approval of validation documentation.
+ All other duties as assigned.
**What you will need:**
+ B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 4 or more years' experience or a related Master's degree.
+ Experience translating user needs into process flows and requirements.
+ Ability to develop robust testing plans for new software developments and validations.
+ Strong understanding of additive manufacturing data preparation and build file management.
+ Experience with scripting languages such as python.
+ Experience in automation.
+ Proven track record of working in a team-based environment.
+ Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded with the ability to recognise good ideas.
+ Innovative thinker - should be able to envisage new and better ways of doing things.
+ Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), statistical tools, and validation/verification techniques.
+ Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks.
+ Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design.
+ Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
+ Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
