**Job Overview**
Reporting to the Quality Systems Supervisor, the training Specialist in the Training Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our training programs for employees in TE connectivity.

+ Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the training department and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of training programs.
+ Support Audits and own actions for CAPA, NC's, Audit findings.
+ Other tasks as directed by the Senior Quality Systems Engineer in line with company goals and objectives
**Key Requirements**

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $172,500

+ Works closely with Research & Development in the development of Test methods to ensure that they are ready for the Test Method Validation (TMV) process.
+ Ensures all TMV's are validated to meet the required TMV procedure and standards.
+ Takes direction from the quality core team member in delivering day to day project deliverables as an extended QCTM.
+ Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
+ Perform systematic reliability analysis against features, requirements, architecture, interfaces, and designs, through the appropriate application of reliability engineering techniques (e.g. fault tree analysis, failure trending and analysis, reliability forecasting, etc.) to understand product and process robustness.
+ Understand risk management concepts used throughout the quality system to successfully meet FDA, ANSI/AAMI/ISO 14971:2019, and ANSI/AAMI/ISO 13485:2016 requirements.
+ You will lead strategies for test method validations, design verification and shelf-life protocols / reports.

Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions division in searching for a dynamic Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team! This is a hybrid role with a 4 day onsite requirement. The chosen candidate will be heavily involved in supporting the design work for a critical ablation program. Cardiac Ablation Solutions team is engaged in developing next generation medical technologies that save lives and improves the quality of living for millions of patients across the world

**A Day in The Life Of:**
+ Complex product design activities
+ Perform concept development and prototyping
+ Design / develop components to be manufactured via plastic injection molding, stamping, machining, extrusion and related processes
+ Create and interpret analyses to determine suitability of design concepts
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff
+ Incorporate risk-based decision-making into the design process
+ Apply Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies to all aspects of the design/development process.
+ Ensure on-time completion of Design Control deliverables
+ Grow and maintain knowledge current with related technologies
+ Work with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure feasibility of high-volume assembly
+ Translate VoX feedback into product requirements
+ Create and release engineering drawings, reports, and presentations
+ Travel to supplier and manufacturing sites as required
+ Present technical findings or project status to cross functional teams and management through meeting minutes, design reviews, presentations, and other means of communication
+ Research, plan, design, verify, validate electromechanical products and systems
**Key Skills & Experience**
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's of Engineering degree and 4+ years of experience in mechanical product development or Masters of Engineering degree and 2+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
**Nice to Have**
+ DRM Greenbelt or above
+ Experience in the medical device industry
+ Experience in complex mechanical system design
+ Experience with plastic injection molding in a high-volume environment
+ Extensive experience in 3D modeling, finite element analysis, and statistical design analysis
+ Process and test method development, validation
+ Formal training in Six Sigma methodologies
+ Experience designing/developing catheters
+ Experience with high-volume manufacturing
