**What you will do**
+ Turn global digital manufacturing strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap for the Galway site, driving performance, adoption, and value.
+ Act as the site's key connection point across global teams, local leadership, and external partners-ensuring collaboration and alignment.
+ Lead end-to-end MES deployments, from early planning through go-live and stabilization, with a strong focus on people and process readiness.
+ Create structured, well-managed project plans-balancing timelines, risks, and business priorities to deliver successfully without disrupting operations.
+ Foster a culture of shared responsibility by engaging cross-functional teams and keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
+ Work closely with Operational Excellence and Lean teams to ensure processes are well-designed, consistent, and ready for digital enablement.
+ Champion change management-supporting teams at all levels to confidently adopt new systems and ways of working.
+ Build strong engagement on the shop floor by embedding MES into daily routines and decision-making.Identify opportunities for improvement, addressing gaps in processes, data quality, and system use to ensure long-term success.
+ Mentor and support a network of MES Key Users, building internal capability and confidence.
+ Collaborate with Quality and Validation teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
+ Share insights and best practices to continuously improve and scale digital initiatives globally.
**What your background should look like**
+ Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, IT, or a related field (education or hands-on).
+ Exposure to MES or digital manufacturing in a production environment.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Ability to lead change and support teams through new ways of working.
+ Organised, with solid problem-solving and project management skills.
+ Confidence making balanced, risk-aware decisions.
+ Clear communicator, comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Passion for continuous improvement, quality, and data integrity.
+ Experience in regulated industries and knowledge of MES/SAP is a plus.

+ Contribute to the development and review of electrical architectures, requirements, and design approaches to support RF and pulsed field ablation technologies, ensuring robustness under clinical use conditions.
+ Support trade-off decisions balancing performance, safety, cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and regulatory constraints.
+ Contribute to detailed electrical design activities including high-voltage circuits, power electronics, sensing and monitoring circuits, isolation schemes, grounding strategies, and EMC-robust designs.
+ Support and execute verification and validation activities, ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and reliability requirements across the product lifecycle.
+ Provide technical input into design reviews, hazard analyses, and failure investigations involving electrical subsystems.
+ Support risk management activities related to electrical hazards, energy delivery, insulation, leakage currents, fault detection, and patient return electrode monitoring, with ownership of assigned deliverables.
+ Apply Design for Reliability and Manufacturability principles to identify, reduce, and monitor technical risk in compliance with medical device standards and internal quality systems.
+ Act as a design technical leader across released product engineering, manufacturing, supplier engineering, service, and quality teams.
+ Support sustaining engineering activities including root‑cause analysis of field issues, design changes, component obsolescence, and manufacturing process improvements.
+ Interface with external suppliers and partners to support continuity of supply, technical alignment with system requirements, and coordination of assigned tasks or project activities.
+ Share technical knowledge and collaborate with other engineers to support sound electrical design, documentation, and problem solving.
+ Contribute to engineering standards, design guidelines, and continuous improvement efforts within CAS.
+ Represent electrical engineering in program reviews, technical discussions, and issue-resolution forums as needed.
**Key Skills & Experience**
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
+ OR Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
+ OR PhD with relevant experience
**Nice to Have Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Experience in analog/digital mixed-signal design, safety-critical circuit design, and EMC/ESD mitigation.
+ Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical decisions within complex, multidisciplinary systems, with a willingness to take ownership of assigned work and support project execution.
