This full-time role involves a hands-on approach to fostering a proactive safety culture across both locations.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Health and Safety for the group.
Key Responsibilities Risk Management: Identify and mitigate health and safety risks, conducting site inspections and risk reviews in collaboration with site management.
H&S Management System: Implement and maintain a H&S management system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.
Compliance & Audits: Maintain full compliance with company policies and regulatory frameworks and oversee the development of site-specific safety statements.
Incident Management: Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training: Organise and deliver H&S training, including toolbox talks, to ensure employee competency and compliance with legal requirements.
Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture through increased awareness and engagement.
Documentation: Manage all H&S documentation, including inspection records and training logs, and report on key metrics and non-compliances.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement site-specific emergency response plans.
Requirements Education: QQI Level 6 or 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, a NEBOSH Diploma, or a relevant 3rd level qualification.
Professional Membership: Technical member of IOSH or an equivalent qualification is essential.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience at H&S Supervisor/Management level is required, with proven experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, a hands-on approach, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite are necessary.

This is a prime opportunity for proactive, safety-focused professionals with a passion for driving a strong health and safety culture.
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance with all Health & Safety requirements across the business.
This role will drive a strong health and safety culture and facilitate behavioural change throughout the organization.
Duties Include: Oversee the Health & Safety budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Lead the site's Health & Safety program, ensuring ongoing legal compliance and continuous improvement.
Maintain up-to-date risk assessments and safe systems of work that are relevant to site operations.
Ensure that Health & Safety systems on-site are consistently maintained and updated.
Conduct specialist risk assessments (e.g., Manual Handling, Co SHH, DSE) to ensure risks are minimized in line with standards, commercial needs, and legislative requirements.
Ensure appropriate training and safeguards are in place and regularly reviewed.
Act as the Health & Safety business partner for the site leadership team, supporting them in delivering H&S accountabilities and improvement plans.
Assist the Site Training Coordinator in sourcing and delivering health and safety training programs in line with needs assessments.
Prepare Health & Safety board reports and lead monthly H&S management review meetings.
Support site maintenance teams to ensure statutory inspections are completed, PPM programs are up to date, and machinery is safe to use according to legislative requirements.
Actively assist in monitoring contractors on site and manage the Permit to Work System.
Maintain and update Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Inspect and review PPE and safety equipment to ensure suitability.
Ensure Health & Safety considerations are integrated into all relevant projects to minimize risks of injury, illness, or environmental harm.
Essential Criteria: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Health & Safety Management within a manufacturing environment.
NEBOSH Qualification or recognized equivalent.
Experience working within a multi-site organization.
Strong understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO14001 requirements Proven skills in influencing, coaching, communication, and time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated leadership in driving the Health & Safety agenda on site.
Ability to work under pressure and focus on solutions.

Job Overview:
The Functional Safety Manager will be responsible for the ISO 26262 safety management of Cadence design IP products targeted for automotive products, and development of ISO 26262 compliant processes, infrastructure, and work products. He/she will work with the safety organizations of our customers, vendors, external safety expert consultants and internal product development teams to ensure that the functional safety process is well understood, executed and documented.
This role will be an integral part of an agile engineering team that focuses on bringing safety solutions per the ISO26262 standard to Cadence customers in the fast growing Automotive/ADAS markets.

Job Responsibilities:
+ Act as Functional Safety Manager for safety related hardware and software products
+ Analyze impact of ISO 26262 releases for DIP and create Functional Safety awareness across department
+ Perform safety management activities according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development, production) such as developing safety plans including defining the necessary safety related activities, work products and processes
+ Manage creation of safety work products which include the Safety Plan, Safety Manual, Safety Requirements, and Safety Analysis including FMEDA and DFA and Safety Verification and Validation activities
+ Collaborate with project engineers, marketing & development team, safety consultants, vendors and customers on Functional Safety activities
+ Define and implement functional safety processes associated with hardware development
+ Create/review functional safety documentation according to ISO 26262
+ Conduct reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles
Job Qualifications:
+ BSEE/BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). MS preferred.
+ 10+ or more years of relevant work experience.
+ Experience with ISO 26262 standard. Preferable if holds Safety certification.
+ Experience in functional safety compliance, testing or auditing or QA (quality assurance) of embedded HW/SW systems
+ Experience in safety analysis of hardware including FMEA, FMEDA and DFA
+ Experience in working with certification bodies to gain product certification to ISO26262
+ Experience with standards-based embedded HW/SW systems Product Development Life Cycle i.e. HW IP design and verification processes, ASIC design methodologies, and software development tools and methods.
+ Familiarity with Configuration, Requirements, and Documentation Management tools (e.g. GitHub, Jama, DOORS, JIRA, etc)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and clear, concise documentation writing skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers, management, customers and partners.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
+ Proven record of taking customer safety requirements from concept to final product.
+ Experience in working with certification bodies to gain product certification to ISO26262
+ Experience in fault injection techniques
+ Experience in development of software safety diagnostic routines
+ Experience in Software Quality and process (e.g., SPICE, CMMI).
+ Experience of applying MISRA standards in software development
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management standard
+ Knowledge of cybersecurity and ISO21434

Your New Job: As the Food Safety Manager, you will ensuretop food safety and hygiene standards across manufacturing operations.
You will oversee sanitation, chemical, microbiological, and allergen testing, as well as audit compliance.
The role fosters a strong food safety culture and collaborates with multiple teams to maintain and improve standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure cleaning, sanitisation, hygiene zoning, GMP, and allergen controls meet HACCP, BRC, and customer standards, with regular validation and documentation.
Lead internal and external audits, maintain compliance with legislation, standards, and customer codes, and manage non-conformance resolution.
Investigate food safety or hygiene issues, support product recalls, and develop contingency and escalation plans.
Lead, train, and coach teams on food safety practices, SOPs, and allergen control, fostering a strong food safety culture.
Drive efficiency and innovation in hygiene practices, liaise with maintenance, procurement, quality, and operations, and manage KPIs, budgets, and resources effectively.
What are we looking for? Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC, and food safety legislation.
Experience in food manufacturing, including hygiene, QA, or technical leadership, and managing audits, investigations, and compliance systems.
