**Summary of role:**
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Delivery Manager with keen delivery mindset to join our team and be part of a major transformation project. The role involves managing and optimising delivery of the Product backlog to maximize value of the product/services delivered. This is a senior level role that requires managing cross-functional squads and their delivery.
**We're looking for someone who will:**
+ Be the primary point of contact to various stakeholders, on behalf of the Project team and identify the product requirements ( for the development team.
+ Help and guide the Product Owner to prioritize a product backlog that aligns with the Project vision and goals, and continuously refine it based on feedback and changing business needs.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, design team leads, quality assurance) to ensure that the product/service delivered meets customer needs and is delivered on time and within budget.
+ Review and Ensure that the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team.
+ Continuously monitoring the product's performance and gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize future improvements.
+ Keep the Delivery Squad focused on deliverables for each sprint and maintain the focus across various sprints
+ Collaborate with product owners of different squads, and Design leads to effectively deliver the committed back log items across sprints
+ Improve the squads delivery capacity by analysing key concern areas during sprint retrospectives and provide timely support for the squad members as and when required
**You will need to show us that:**
+ You demonstrate leadership ( and ownership of the product/Project, and inspiring others to share and contribute to the product/project vision and goals
+ You can Continuously monitor the Project' and Squad's performance, gather feedback from various stakeholders and respond/take actions to show continuous improvement
+ You will use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize future improvements.
+ You can take tough decisions on what features/items to include in each sprint or release, based on the value they will deliver to business needs
+ You can closely work with the Scrum Master, Product Owner and the delivery squad to resolve challenges and remove impediments
+ You are a professional with strong commercial acumen who will connect easily with the strategy and goals of both Project and business
**Experience and Skills required** -
+ 10 + years of overall experience with a minimum of 5+ years as Delivery Manager
+ Agile/Scrum Certification (CSPO/PSPO/SafePO/PM)
+ Extensive experience in managing Product Backlog and Development teams/squads
+ Track record of delivering complex projects through agile process
+ Exceptional Communicational Skills (both verbal and written)
+ Background in Financial Services/Banking domain in Ireland/UK markets will be an added advantage

**Incident Management & Operational Resilience**
+ Lead the incident management function for the portfolio, ensuring rapid response and resolution of critical IT issues.
+ Establish and maintain incident response protocols, escalation paths, and communication plans.
+ Collaborate with support teams and business stakeholders to minimize disruption and restore services efficiently.
+ Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.
+ Monitor incident trends and implement proactive measures to enhance system reliability and service quality
**Resource and Team Management**
+ Manages performance, coaches team members, and resources team appropriately to deliver on objectives while driving a culture of excellence
+ Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities
+ Supervises, motivates and mentors cross-functional/cross-divisional project team of project managers and business analysts
**Accountability and Impact**
+ Direct oversight of strategic programs with budgets ranging from $0-$M and business impact up to 7M.
+ Final decision authority on program-level budgets, delivery timelines, incident resolution strategies, and resource commitments.
+ Responsible for mission-critical initiatives and incident response efforts that span divisions and geographies, with significant visibility at the executive level.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
+ Minimum 9 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development; preferred experience in delivering IT solutions in an enterprise digital and e-commerce landscape
+ Minimum 6 years of managing projects in digital marketing, web design, mobile or interactive media.
+ Experience or familiarity with technologies and best practices in areas not limited to: Customer experience, CRM, marketing/sales automation, web content management, e-commerce, PCI, mobile solutions, social engagement, data driven marketing (DMP), and health care
+ Experience managing release cycles or programs involving multiple projects managers and cross-functional development/testing teams.
+ Excellent track record in delivering complex and cross functional programs
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead Agile Scrum teams
+ Knowledge of software development practices (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
+ Experience working in matrix global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and services
+ Experience working in an FDA-regulated business (e.g. validated software related to medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences products) and PCI regulated business is preferred

Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions division is searching for a Sr Principal PD Project Management Specialist to join our Product Development team working on new catheter designs.
Cardiac Ablation Solutions is developing next generation medical technologies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our technologies save lives and improves the quality of living for millions of patients across the world by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias and enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes.
As a Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a range of new product development activities on large, moderately complex projects. You will work independently to implement strategic goals and establish operational plans, and coordinate with Project Management, R&D, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, and other functions to deliver products to our customers.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Be a recognized expert in your role, manage large projects or processes. Provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within the job area.
+ Support PMO specific initiatives within CAS and collaborate across other OUs on specific activities (e.g. Peer reviews, training or review/update of harmonized procedures).
+ Communicate organizational capacity constraints, program risks, issues and decisions to core team leader, cross functional core team members and key stakeholders.
+ Develops and executes project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
+ Ensures adherence to design control requirements.
+ Defines and negotiates project resource requirements.
+ Manages project budgets and oversees capital expenditures.
+ Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
+ Develops risk mitigation plans.
+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress.
+ Travels up to 10% of the time.
**Key Skills & Experience**
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Requires a Level 8 Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience with ablation products and therapies (e.g., catheters, generators)
+ Strong understanding of medical device regulations (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485)
+ Experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies
+ Skilled in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks
+ Broad engineering knowledge across product development functions
+ Ability to effectively interface and communicate with employees at all organizational levels
+ Strength in working with cross-functional teams across facilities to solve problems
+ Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks
+ Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating, managing change, resolving conflict
+ Master's degree in Engineering and/or scientific discipline, or MBA
+ PMP certification
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification
