Product Management Student Internship
We are seeking a motivated and curious Product Management Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of innovative, user-centered products. Working closely with the Product Owner, Product Manager, and agile squads, this internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the end-to-end product lifecycle in a dynamic environment within the insurance and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
Backlog Management and Refinement
- Assist in documenting and maintaining user stories in JIRA under the guidance of the Product Manager.
- Support backlog organisation by helping track priorities, dependencies, and progress.
- Participate in refinement sessions to observe how requirements are gathered, discussed, and clarified.
- Shadow the Product Manager to learn how epics are broken down into actionable stories and capture acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Support the preparation of prototypes, mock-ups, or examples to help communicate requirements to stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, training content, or meeting notes for stakeholder sessions.
- Gain exposure to how the squad, SMEs, and third-party developers collaborate to deliver features.
Agile Execution and Delivery
- Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to observe and support the delivery process.
- Assist the Product Manager to prepare demo materials for Sprint Reviews and in capturing stakeholder feedback.
- Support the Product Manager in tracking feature progress and maintaining clear documentation.
Process improvement and Metrics
- Assist in updating JIRA and Confluence with notes, sign-offs, or other delivery details.
- Support the collection and tracking of product metrics to monitor outcomes and team performance.
- Contribute to ideas and observations on potential improvements to workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in business analysis, agile development, and digital transformation in the insurance and financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or prototyping software is a plus, but not required.
